anyone with experience bringing quality product back from amsterdam?

i hate not knowing what i'm buying. i'd rather supply myself (NO SALES, so don't ask) with the best stuff from the Dam and bring it back to Warsaw, but I really don't want to get busted by Polish customs.

Seems like security at airports here is pretty lax compared to the US. Any advice?

there is plenty of unclaimed or uncultivated land in Poland (quite ubiquitously)
(e.g. many abandoned gardening alotments in cities)

go find such a plot and grow your own weed (not a plantation) say one plant per plot

are there spots around warsaw where you can buy small amounts for personal use, where people wont get paranoid thinking youre an undercover cop or something

What happens if you do get caught, do the cops just give you a fine?

I don't know the prices but I know it's expensive and the quality ain't that great. I sayed that because I brought moroccan hash and some weed I bought in the netherlands to Gdansk a few years ago and they loved it, except the one that puked after a couple of puffs.

Don't get caught with it, coz their police are the worst cunts ever. And even tho Poland is the Mexico of europe, I wouldn't try to bribe a pig there. Word!

And smoking is a hobby not a habit, and if you smoke you will never get cancer, but thats not if you already have it. and they say it kills brain cells but i dont think thats proven.

Hi All,

I realise this may be a touchy thread so apologies if it offends anyone! I been living here a couple of months and would really like a smoke! Im sure there are like minded expats out there and indeed Polish smokers, so can anyone help, you contact me direct if you would rather im at the point where i may travel to The Dam and come bacnk on the train with a bit, have also considered growning as ive had experience in my teens but to be honest i can t be bothered to wait for 3 months :-)

Please keep the negative stuff about this post to yourself, ive been smoking for around 17 years so im well aware of the effects!! I have my own and business and dont let smoking effect my day to day life! I just enjoy some BUD!! :-)

Marijuana legalisation

I remember reading not so long ago that the govt were to vote on decriminalising the possession of marijuana, like in Czech I guess.

Is this vote still going to go before the govt? & how do people feel about this in general.
From what I've seen since I moved here a lot of people smoke the herb.

Personally, I think it would be a good thing to decriminalise, I think it'd be even better to fully legalise, then the govt could tax and control it and use it as another revenue stream.

Anyway, will it happen? Should it happen?

Agree. This war on drugs, including the hard ones, is a total failure. 40 years, billion of dollars spend, massive man power involved and no effect whatsoever. Legalization and gov control would be better solution.

Theres a great documentary you can watch here on google videos. It gives the full facts on marijuana, it's effects, why it was banned in the first places and loads of other information.

I've always smoked but was never really into the whole leagalise it movement until I watched this documentary which really laid down some facts that people and governments should be made aware of.

We are born to experience and one part of that is drugs. I've never really been a drug taker but I've done my fair share of hashish. Enough to get a rounded perspective of what the drug is about. I liked what I felt but beware of Nepalese Black mixed into yogurt as it's quick release. The Australian Pink Floyd sounded AMAZING that night.

I know 2 coppers here and they've said it'd be great & cut down on some of their work and let them concentrate on proper cop work....... catching people jaywalking and escorting football hooligans! ah but seriously they said that they'd be really happy if it did go through the govt.

The law and the penalties are too harsh so hopefully it'll change.

If we legalized all drugs, then the drugs will become virtually worthless, and smuggling will no longer be necessary. This will reduce drug-related violence between rivalling dealers to almost zero, and it will very likely put some criminal, aswell as terrorist organisations out of business.

If the drugs are distributed by an apothecary or drugstore then the distributors can ensure quality, which means that the drugs will be pure, and be less of a hazard to the health of the people who use drugs. Information concerning health can be provided with the products aswell. Addicted customers can be monitored and registered, which means the distributor can decrease their dose step by step. People who use drugs will be less likely to get violent, end up homeless, and will no longer have to steal or even prostitute themselves for their shots. People who shoot won't have to share their needles anymore, which will reduce the spread of HIV and a variety of other diseases. Oh, and don't forget about the age limit!

If taxes are paid over all these drugs legally, then this will mean billions of extra income for the government. It will also mean that less tax money will be wasted on the war on drugs, and it will probably save a lot of lives of a lot of Police Officers, which in turn, will be able to focus on other violent crimes, although I'm convinced that the crime rates will drop by atleast 50% if all the crime that's involved with drugs will cease to exist.

And last but not least; Doing drugs will no longer be vieuwed as something illegal, so to a lot of young and rebellious people who are seeking the thrills and the kicks of doing something that's obviously not allowed, it might not appeal that much, or even seem adventurous anymore.

Oh, and to all the people who oppose legalization; People who want to use drugs will use it anyway. By opposing legalization, you're actually helping the criminals to make money, you're keeping all the dealers on the streets, and since the quality of their drugs is really poor, some drugs might even be deadly in the smallest dose.

No what kind of sane person would want to do this if your going to legalize it why don't the government just give it to the kids for free so they don't have to pay for it.
