hi does anyone know a place in warsaw to buy carton of cigarette (10 packs) thank for anyone help.

Round the back of Stadion at the start of ul Targowa or the subway by the tram stop at Rondo Waszyngtona. 5zl per packet (so 50zl, a little over 10 quid a carton). Mornings up to about 10 or maybe 10.30 only.

Please beware of the cheap Russian/Belarussian cigarettes like Minsk. My husband smoked them for two years and in that time he developed nasty headaches, they worst cough (an all night cough) terrible snoring and body aches. As soon as he stopped smoking them that all went away.

You used to be able to get perfectly normal cigs at the Stadion. The trick was to pick a sealed carton and then open it in front of the seller and open a couple of random packets to check they were fine. All the decent sellers were fine with that.

I remember that my smoking friends told me the Marlboros sold there were smoked much faster as the ones bought in the West...and that they had a bit of a strange taste..

I do not smoke so I can't judge that.
A bit off-topic but an English friend of mine once bought their a copy of Window. He thought it was English, but t turned out to be...Bulgarian :)

Some of the kiosks under the central station (the old-fashioned looking ones, NOT the shiny new places) especially in the North East corridors are used to requests like that. You'll need to ask for the number of packets rather than the number of cigarettes.

You can buy in Carmen Polska in Warsaw on Łopuszańska 22 Street.
