Traiskirchen, did u ever study economics? I'd doubt it. Since when has money not been good for an economy u fool? If they forge ties with Polish firms, and they have the required commitment, how does that not benefit Poland's economy? Enlighten me

To answer the question, I'd say the Russians more, based on comments from students. Most educated Poles know that Hitler was an angst-ridden maniac hellbent on having things his way. OK, many Germans may have felt the Poles to be inferior but they weren't Polonophobes for the most part. The Russians imposed communism, a truly backward ideology in practice, which has led to huge resentment. Another factor could be that I live in Silesia and people here have many German connections. I went to a place called Ożimek and I heard a lot of German. There was bad blood here too but ties have been forged and many Silesians go to Germany to work. Russians are often seen as drunkards

And did u read the rest of my post? U r arguing for the sake of arguing but look at what I said. Most educated Poles tagged Hitler and his Nazi sleazebags for what they were. Clever Poles know that modern day Germans deplore what Hitler did. Trust me, I know first-hand how much he was hated by most Germans. I'm quite aware of the inter-governmental relations thank u very much.

Many Germans did feel the Poles to be somewhat inferior to themselves but, remove the Nazis and u removed most of the anti-Polish sentiment.

Can I make anything clearer for u Greg?

Well put M-G, Communism and Auschwitz, 2 of the worst inflictions on the Polish psyche. The Poles are smart enough to know that there wasn't a referendum on these issues so the majority of countrymen from those big 2 didn't back it.

As Lord Acton said, "power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely".

Greg, r u capable of separating Nazis and Germans (przeciętny)? Show me u can and we can talk. U r thinking about football hooligans maybe. Some like Germans, some dislike them

As for Russians, it depends on the civilised nature of the individual. There is still a feeling of anger and suspicion but it's a generation thing. The older ones will always bear grudges.

The use of Spitfires was an undoubted success, a triumph for the British. However, without American intervention, we wouldn't have saved the world. Hitler also feared the Russian Red Army to a certain level. When they started getting closer, he cacked himself and knew his time was almost up. That's more to the point

USA was a UK colony? What? Colony implies large control WB. Many nationalities went there, not just Brits.

I agree with the apartheid part, that was one of my favourite subjects to read about at school. A terrible policy!!

There was possibly 1 more vote from the English man than from the German man. However, the other 6 votes came from other countries' individuals

Weakened by excessive immigration u cretin. The Scottish economy is still strong and blows ur country's out of the water. We at least have the decency to pay valued workers like farmers well, whereas u guys pay them peanuts. We have an abundant supply of oil and gas. The only gas u have is coming out of ur mouth and ass ye wee glaekit nyaff. Relying on coal to generate revenue, talk about backward. Expect a backlash from the other Scottish members.

See, it's easy to be critical and offensive. The truth is, I like many aspects of living in Poland and u go and make a blanket statement like 'go home'. Through energy and hard work, I have helped many Poles to speak English better. Is that so bad? OK, Mandarin has more native speakers but English is probably the most used 'middle language' between the people of the world who don't have it as their L1. Try targetting/honing ur focus a little rjeden or r u anti-Scottish?

The Scots and Poles have a very good relationship for the most part, why jeopardise that? We are picts through descent and u r slavs but we are alike in many ways. We welcomed u with open arms at both the govt level and employment level. A little acknowledgment wouldn't go amiss.
