Where do you see Poland and Germany, oh lets say, 10 years from now? You spoke of anti-Polish sentiment in Germany? Is this evident through the media too? Are civilians scared of Polish "barbarians" who come to Germany and cause trouble? What is causing so much hatred, in Ihrer gebildeten Meinung. Informieren Sie mich bitte, wie Sie fühle. Teutonic knights were not in it to convert Polish pagans, rather to take the land and enslave the people, like Germany has been doing throughout history. If I had lived back then, I would have liked to kill some of these cowards who rode under Christs banner.

Bratwurst, I hope to God that there will be a continued animosity of Germans toward Poles, for if there ever comes a need for war, I would not even hesitate a moment. . .

my question is: whom do the Poles hate more, the Germans or the Russians?

Difficult to decide. Both aren't too popular still in Poland, but times are changing. If I would have to guess, I'd say that Krauts are still more disliked. There is at least a Slavic tie with Russians, even though that really doesn't mean anything.

No, no, I wouldn't say so, mate. Alcohol gets even the ugliest people laid. It helps you last longer in bed, and is a stimulant for greater pleasure. Of course, you don't get puking drunk, just enough that words come easier.

Food / How many Poles are vegetarians? [52]

Quite easy actually, as long as its a moderate restaurant in terms of quality etc.. Try and get some of the general vegetarian meals translated into Polish for you, if you don't know them already, and have a little list handy with you. Best yet, if you have a Polish friend that can help you while ordering. I've noticed that Vegetarianism is becoming more and more popular.

One funny incident:
I believe my sister was at a restaurant once, and she asked for the Vegetarian list, and the Polish waitress scoffed, "Why? You look so pale already," and walked off.

Tells me that meat is still popular in Poland!
