If guys stuck to their guns instead of pondering to those oompa loompas they would have died out by now. They are an endless supply to an endless demand, there will always be desperate guys out there and gold digger byatches to use it.

Ha ha ooh some strong words there mr sheep! I don't see so many tangerines here in Wiltshire but i am more than aware that there is plenty of them in Poland. Them and the potato head boys make such great couples, i actually saw a few couples like that over here and they were always Polish, girls were often taller than their boyfriends too, who for some strange reason have no necks on them lol. Anyway yes i'm sure girls you describe exist but please don't tell me there aren't any nice decent women from Poland. After all you married one so if anything you should be full of praise ;). Perhaps your wife developed an addiction to orange recently? ;)

Maybe it's hormonal. Has anyone ever studied the hormone levels of Slav chicks compared to others around the globe?

not my or anyone elses fault you guys choose to date mental, hormonal women who happen to be Polish! obviously the only guys who come here to talk about it is the ones with girlfriends just like it :/

Just simple things like making a cup of tea for her, which normally is no problem, suddenly this will become the worst thing in the world and I always do it wrong

no milk! a slice of lemon! 2 sugars! not too strong!!! how difficult is that?!?!

ha ha ;D

I am guessing its just her and sometimes she gets wound up by something and starts to take it out on me

sounds like most people when they are having a bad day. the key is to just put your hands on her shoulders, look her in the eyes and say 'babe i love you but you really wind me up sometimes' see if that works. Polish people appreciate directness so don't beat around the bush and walk on eggshells when she's in one of those moods cos she'll think it's ok. confront her, not in an aggressive way of course, but do. and don't patronise her, we hate that.

Get the car registration number and report them to the police...

probably the best option

so immature, i'm sure you'd love to swap places with those people and get soaked on your way to work

are you sure you don't do anything to provoke those repeated attacks?

Love / Korean guy wondering about girls and life in Poland [50]

anyone who puts 'sexy' in their nickname is everything but. you sound like an arrogant pr*ck and some girls dig that, but you're no catch. someone with such a vivid sexual imagination is nothing new on this forum, nevertheless entertaining and laughable!

ps. no chance in hell you're 6'1 ha ha

Love / Maintenance for child born between Irish/Polish parents. [60]

He has phoned me 12 times in the past 5 days asking me to help him with paperwork that he does not understand.

give him some bad advice just for a laugh. he says he wishes you aborted your child and he has the cheek to ring you up asking for help????? he knows what english words to choose in order to hurt you and your son but not the ones he needs to fill out forms? no chance in hell that i would even consider picking up the phone when he rings, just get the legal team to work on your case asap and forget trying to be nice in order to change things. by the sounds of it he's just a 'sperm donor' and the only good thing that came out of your relationship is your son so stop thinking about being fair to him when it comes to getting child support off him. as much as you love your son he is a lifelong responsibility for YOU now and if that scumbag doesn't want to participate in the upbringing of his own flesh and blood then he certainly doesn't deserve for you to take pity on him. your son doesn't need a 'father figure' like that in his life.

as Poland is in the EU now he can't just escape there and disappear, if he can't pay the child support the state should give it to you and send that tosser to jail.

Language / "do I" usage in a question? [50]

That is exactly what I've meant by saying that czy is equivalent of whether (but some can argue with that)

whether = if = czy

UK, Ireland / Polish immigration in UK [491]

They come over here and take our housing, claim our benefits and all they have to do is work for 11 months.

last time i checked it was the Nigerians and Afghanis living in luxurious houses and getting all the benefits, the Poles at least work. i'm all against benefits and council housing for people who don't deserve it but don't blame the people who take advantage of it, blame your dumbass government. too many lazy asses native Brits too, because it pays better to stay at home and collect the dole. the tories are not gonna change anything, last time i checked the were giving the thumbs up for turkey joining the EU. guess what's the first place they're gonna come once the gates of Europe are all opened.

Love / Why do Polish women prefer foreigners for boyfriends and husbands? [418]

Your reaction tells me this example applies perfectly to you.

ha ha yes i need a knight like you to rescue me from my ugly boyfriend ha ha! all my female friends fancy him actually and girls are checking him out on the street so i think i'm not doing too bad for myself :).

ohhh it p*sses you off so much that even the mingers get laid doesn't it! it's hilarious that you think you deserve attention and appreciation from women. with your attitude, you don't even deserve a dog.

No, i'm sure most Polish girls like brave warriors against multicultural detoriation of Polska/Europe. :)

and you're still not getting any! i've never been attracted to black men (apart from will smith corrr ;-D) but i would probably go out with one just to spite you.

Love / Why do Polish women prefer foreigners for boyfriends and husbands? [418]

Midas

somebody sounds like they were screwed over by a few Agnieszkas! i bet you're still single too. i found it hilarious how most of you foreign "buzznessmen" only ever get the slutty Polish women, i am totally not familiar or accquainted with the kind of girls you talk about, with 'cream in their pants' at hearing about money. i suppose you only attract that kind of woman because if all you talk about is your job and your wealth then a smart girl will get bored. you can impress a woman with money and being well off but no good woman will go to bed with you just because of that. i am very sorry that this is the only type of Polish woman you know and in turn demean and despise, i don't blame you but i still stand by my statement that they do not become golddiggers because of communism rooted inside of their brain.

as for British girls, oh boy! you never bumped into a Chantelle who hops into bed with anyone who claims to be a footballer? this seems to be the ambition of many young women in Britain these days. gold digging is not unheard of, maybe not so much as in other countries though because of the generous benefits system...

If a British or American male boasts to his mates about sleeping with a black girl, is he suffering of post communism trauma too? Come on you can't be serious.

Unfortunately, nowadays equality often means adopting men's bad habits and behaviors rather than for us men to improve our own behavior.

It's funny how so many women think they are becoming more equal by acting like thick, arrogant men. It's actually making things worse. But still, it's usually the men who are sluts themselves who call women names when they behave the same way.

It sucks when a woman steals your money but at the end of the day you only have yourself to blame for being naive and letting her have it... The communist b*tch! ;-D

They're flooded with images of what's expected of them, tv shows, magazines, friends, etc., etc. from early on.

It's not that we're brainwashed or forced into it, if we were hairy, smelly with frizzy hair and spotty faces you men wouldn't like us! :D So maybe men are the brainwashed ones because you don't fancy the cavewoman look anymore ha ha.

Yes, they do turn down many good guys but we guys turn down many good ladies. Every now and then I get a facebook update on a friend, ex-girlfriend announcing the birth of their child or marital status update and I think, what the hell was I thinking? Why did I break up with her?

It's always a good idea not to befriend your exes on facebook because all of those unneccesary thoughts and hopes will creep back into your head everytime they update their status. You have to let the past go whether it was a bad decision to break up or a lucky escape! I count mine as a lucky escape, wouldn't waste another breah on the tosser and feel sorry for any females who make the mistake to get emotionally involved with 'it' in the future :)

Love / Why do Polish women prefer foreigners for boyfriends and husbands? [418]

Poland is blessed/cursed with a percentile of sluts in the general population that is greater than in, let's say, Germany or U.K. Pretty much typical for all of Eastern Europe, really.

Put it this way, it makes a girl stand out more when she dates/sleeps with several men or if she's just acting slutty when she lives in a country that is still very conservative, full of persumptuous, old fashioned and condescending people. Now in western countries it seems to be more acceptable for women to be 'loose' and do just as men do, and men kinda expect them to be that way too. Not saying it's a good thing, quite the opposite i think it's sad but at the same time if men are sleeping around just for the sake of having sex and topping up their score (sometimes at the price of braking a few hearts too), why is it still so shocking to you that some girls choose to do the same and if men are paying - take advantage of it? If a woman EXPECTS money, jewelry, gifts or holidays then you know what kind of woman you're dealing with and you are free to walk away. If guys want *something* from you they will use every charm and mind game they know to get it and that in my opinion is much more hurtful.

Also, if you walk into a bar and flash some cash or an expensive watch, guess what kind of girls are gonna be swooning all over you. Same goes for women, if a girl walks into a bar with her boobs on show and a belt for a skirt, guess what kind of men she's going to attract. Bars are not good places for meeting potential partners anyway...

Now some of these sluts are golddiggers and due to communist mentality

Ha ha how many times are you people gonna bring this comunism issue up? Golddiggers are golddiggers they want your money and they are all the same in every corner of the world. Comunism has NOTHING to do with it, the pretty young things in Poland today don't even remember it, i'm 25 and i don't.

Another part of said sluts has an inferiority complex stemming from being raised in the bland environment of communism/early economic transformation years.

And another stupid statement, i'm surprised that somebody who claims to be a travelling businessman comes up with so many ridiculous ideas. If a Romanian guy boasts to his mates about sleeping with an asian girl, does he have deeply rooted comunist issues too? Ones that he doesn't even know about? Or does it only apply to Polish women because you lot need to:

1. Demean and patronise someone who has blatandly taken you for a ride. It's pretty immature if i may add.
2. Have some sort of an explanation, a source, just about anything to explain why you didn't see it coming, why you let them milk you dry and walk away laughing.

And for the record, no i never slept with a black man, or an asian guy. I just find attempts to link the Polish golddiggers with the comunist state or anything stupid like that absolutely pathetic.

Love / Why do Polish women prefer foreigners for boyfriends and husbands? [418]

let's go back to the subject, do you agree with ts that Polish women prefer foreigners?

Um no, Polish women i know who are friends, family or work colleagues, the great majority of them actually, are into Polish men only.

When it comes to dating it's all about standing out a bit and you jarnowa sadly don't stand out from the common crowd at all. You're not exceptionally smart, you're definitely lacking in the sense of humour department and most likely are just about average or below average with looks. So unless you can come up with something that will make women want to date you, trying to pin down your lack of success on everyone and everything else but yourself is really not gonna work. Nor are these stupid threads.

Life / SOME OBSERVATIONS ABOUT POLAND AND POLISH SOCIETY [297]

There are lots of Poles working in the UK as cashiers... you never know who they really are.

i know it when i see a polish person, you can always tell. that and their accent that i'd recognise. plus in uk most cashiers wear name tags :)

ex-pats being annoyed about cashiers being slow and needing the exact change :/

it's true about the change, they always want some change the bunch of tramps lol. but in general i find service much MUCH faster in Poland. maybe when they see a foreign person (foreign people stand out a lot) they slow down just to annoy you i dunno ;)

They respect their work. I like this point of view :)

i would LOVE to see a British cashier working on a till in Poland with a queue building up and everybody dying to get through ;D

Language / będzie potrafił? [34]

Nie UMIEM po rosyjsku.

Nie umiem mówić po rosyjsku.
or
Nie znam rosyjskiego.

Nie POTRAFIĘ razem iść do kina.

Nie mogę iść razem z tobą do kina.

potrafić and umieć are synonyms, but móc, which also means 'can' in English is not their synonym. potrafić and umieć mean to have ability/skill to do something. móc is used to describe will or power.

Nie mogę się doczekać. - I can't wait.
Czy mogę w czymś pomóc? - Can i help with something?
Potrafię grać na gitarze. - I can play the guitar.
Mógłbym pograć na gitarze, gdybym ją miał. - I could play the guitar if i had one.

See the difference?

Life / SOME OBSERVATIONS ABOUT POLAND AND POLISH SOCIETY [297]

you say WHAT??? They are really slow, especially in the supermarket.

seriously, everytime i go back they are so fast i can't even blink twice and all my shopping's been put through the till. they are really fast especially in biedronka. get you lot getting used to fast service, british cashiers are lazy as hell and they turn the products around 3 times before they even find the barcode!
