Love / Polish women are the most beautiful in the world! [1718]

[
quote=saddened] The problem with them is they melt when you tell them they are the most precious thing on earth so run round the corner and get your wallet back. And youll also have a beutiful girl for nothing.
Not all of them my friend, you can prevent that by being tight. If she wants cash she'll soon be off to the next victim.
i have a problem trusting a Polish girl as a girlfriend [/quot

from one guy to another,we've all had failures but we've got to keep going.I had given up on finding someone and then I met Gosia. You'll get there too but you need to recognize the qualities of girls you've known in those you meet and throw the bad ones back for someone else.

I dont know about 'online relationships' , I'm of the generation where you go out and actually meet people. As you know now,you wont know someone until you have regular contact with them(face to face).Get out there, meet the girls,be honest with them and expect it back, respect yourself and expect her to respect you, respect them-but she must respect herself.

Dont give up,there are some good girls out there. As in all life though.....................

BE FAIR TO YOURSELF. if you are being fair , it will be fair for others too!

There seem to be 2 types of Pl girls.

One lot make the best wives and girlfriends there are.Loyal, clean, honest, confident and armed to the teeth with self respect.(oh I forgot determined)

The other lot cheap, lazy, common, uneducated and illmannered golddiggers that put it about a bit to get what they want.

Get one of the first type(i did),you'll never look back. But you will be able to indentify the other kind a mile off due to them being differrent.Get one of them, you'll never trust a polish girl again.

Law / Hiring a Polish Worker - Pros and Cons [107]

Not just roma s i'm afraid.I've got several friends who are very much Polish and claim everything they can.Even extra benefit for being a single mum when they actuially have partners. My wifes boss is dismayed that he gets girls on agency work, they are superb,he gives them a permanent contract with a 3 month probationary period-they are still superb, probation period ends-guess what I'm pregnant-Ineed time off-Ineed maternity leave-I know my rights, blah blah blah, then this superb worker is a lazy useless waste of time and money that only knows how to complain and assert her rights.Lets admit how it is shall we??

Law / Hiring a Polish Worker - Pros and Cons [107]

It took years to learn and will take many more to unlearn. As hardest workers, not many can outwork me and I,m certainly not a Pole.A lot of poles need to be constantly motivated to work, and yes they then work well.I prefer people who motivate themselves and get on with it for the sake of it.The blokes I worked with on International were Scots,Paddies,English and Welsh, all of them great guys who could match anyone from anywhere-especially the scots,I was VERY impressed with them because we had the same approach.I knew a lot of excellent poles too but they were exemplary examples of their nations drivers. Zenon -Czarna Stoppa-Bartosz(zamosc),Marek-pet shop boys-Krauschar( Siedlec)(R.I.P),Zbyszek Wroblewski(Warsaw).+++

I can name all the best ones because high quality was so rare and still is.

Life / The Polish Wedding - What is it Like in Poland? [338]

The band play and the groom comes to get the bribe from the brides home. The couple kneel in front of the inlaws and they bless them and give gifts.I got a gold chain because"every young bull should be kept on a chain" apparently. The band will play and lead you to the car or,as in my case lead the guests to the church on foot. The dress isas in England but in some regions some of the senior folk will dress in traditional costume. The trip to the church is impeded by "road blocks" called bramas-gates.It is neccessary to pay the blocker with a bottle of the wedding vodka, which the best man has in hand.At the church the normal then they will throw 1 grosz coins on the pouple outsdide the chuch. The couple must pick them all up and they are kept for all time in a small bag as a good luck token. The band leads you to the car and plays again when you reach the party.Plenty of dancing(live band) interrupted by frequent hot meals and vodka toasts.Occasional shouts of "gorzka, gorzka" when the couple must kiss, more dancing, silly games, throwing bouquet as in u.k but in Pl it is attached to a game where the men surround the groom on a chair and pretend to prevent the bride from getting it.Of course she succeds , everyone cheers and she throws it to the next victim(JOKE)

Same for the groom, more dancing until 6-7 a.m
"poprawka" is a repeat reception on the following day. This is going out of fashoion now but is still practised by village people. It an expensive thing a polish wedding, but worth every penny.

Law / Hiring a Polish Worker - Pros and Cons [107]

The only effect of all these visitors is that our income decrease and in some cases ceases altogether. Why would any boss agree to a pay increase demand if the pole will do it cheaper and not dare to stick up for themselves. Sure there may be a bit of extra damage and maybe a few people hurt, but hey... what the hell, money talks. We've been betrayed by our leaders. We cant blame the poles, if someone offered us lots of moneys to do a job we're really not up to, then most of us would take the cash and think what a pr**k he/she is for employing me! They are mostly spongers and we will lose big-time on this mistake. If anyone thinks they will appreciate the chance they have been given or be loyal for it, you're living in cloud cuckoo land because they are not typical traits of most poles. There are some very respectable people among them who will have their reputations ruined by their countrymen. Poland is just the same way, 5% tryers and 95% hangers on which is why its not going to change until they pull their fingers out and ditch the peasant mentality. I love Poland, its fantastic and birthplace of my wife and sons.
