Law / Archives said there are no records that confirm my ancestor's citizenship, is a petition my only option? [37]

My own ancestors were from Poland and even wore the crown of this country

Strange.

Quite. For some reason those who have never filed for recognition of citizenship by descent choose to show up on these threads and claim to be experts on the process, even when they were naturalised, claim to know everything about the others posting of their experiences, and throw fantastic allegations about. How long 'til the usual trolls get banned again?

Life / Moving from India to Krakow for employment - suggestion for good location to live with family [22]

Under EU law, they must certify that no EU national can be found to do this job. More likely, no one will do the job at the low salary offered. So, rather than meet the market price of labor, the job is offered to someone from outside the EU. This is also called "the race to the bottom". Surprisingly, the employer can't find any Slavs to work at this low rate of pay, not even in Ukraine!

UK, Ireland / No Poles Allowed! - Latest Polonophobic Outrage Out of Britain [660]

outrages about a sign which doesn't say "No Poles Allowed!",

If the sign had read, "No Poles Allowed" then no one could go fishing. It thus would not discriminate against anyone, but Polish people were banned from fishing with a hand line, which is clearly not equal treatment.

racists in the UK like Poles and invited Poles to take part in their neo-Nazis circle-jerks

Erm, How do you know this? Did you attend these events and participate? Are you coming out of the closet now?

Love / Polish guy offered me money for sex [18]

Well for homosexual men it's perfectly normal to exchange money for sex. It is all about the power differences in the relationship. One German queer went to Arabia and said he couldn't save any money. I later realized he was spending all of his income on male prostitutes. I also know of a British queer bloke who works in Arabia and pays young Asian men for sex. (He also claims to have received Polish citizenship recently.) He is getting old now and lost most of his hair, so he has to pay for his preferred sexual services at present.
