Work / Offer of 12k zloty enough in Warsaw? [10]

Thanks Dominic.

Assuming 3500 for an apartment including all utilities, can I consider another 2500 zloty for food, grocery, public transport, phone and internet etc?

I want to understand if I can save about 6-6.5k zloty if my and wife's combined post tax income is 12k.

About tax, is 30-32% deduction total? Inclusive of social security cuts like health/ZUS?

As a side note, could you help me with some information on general life in warsaw? Public libraries, sport activities, transport system etc? Even an existing thread should be helpful.

Thanks

Work / Offer of 12k zloty enough in Warsaw? [10]

Hi thanks.

So, is 30-32% the total deduction including ZUS etc?

Also, could you please help me with a rough idea as to how much does a 3 room apartment cost? If I wish to save more, does an apartment little far from centre available for cheap? Is the public transport connected enough to reach any point within the city?

Thanks

Work / Offer of 12k zloty enough in Warsaw? [10]

Hi, I am from Bangalore, India. I have offer to relocate to Warsaw.

The company will bear the visa and relocation costs initially

Me and my wife have an offer of 12.5k zloty gross and 5k gross respectively. Firstly, what is the net based on this salary? Any idea would help me.

Secondly, how much would a decent 2-bedroom (3 room) apartment cost in good locality in Warsaw? What are rest of the costs attached to renting an apartment?

What are other costs like transport (public transport), grocery, phone, internet etc and how much can I hope to save based on the income and other expenses including the apartment?

Thanks
