Law / I am an American citizen seeking a temporary redidence card and a work permit in Poland [4]

Hello,
I am a citizen of the USA. I have been in a relationship with a polish girl who is the love of my life for over 3 years. This is my first time actually being in Poland and i love it here and i wish to stay and be with her. I have been looking at different websites about how to apply for a temporary residence and work permit but they say i need for example health insurance and proof of a job to be able to support myself. We have a residence but the other things i would not be able to get i dont believe without the work permit and residence card.

Is there a way to obtain these during my stay here? I have saved up enough money to be able to support us for a while until i can obtain these and also she has a job. we are not married yet but we are planning to be and will go through with it sooner if we must to help this situation.

Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you to everyone for your help.

Firstly, American is a continent. Secondly, for get about your work permit, you cannot get it.

You can't. Your employer applies for it before they hire you. Once they get it, they provide you with a copy so that you can apply for a residence permit.

Very few Polish employers will go through the hassle and expense of getting a work permit for a non-EU citizen unless that person is unusually qualified and experienced. Otherwise, there is little motivation for them to do so.

What kind of work are you thinking of, and what are your qualifications and experience?
