Law / Polish Graduate Working in Poland with GERMAN VISA? [27]

Hi, I am a graduate of Polish university. I have a job offer in Poland. Can I apply for TRC in Poland - if I only have a German national D work Visa?

P.S. I have an expired Karta Pobytu from December 2022 - from my old employer in PL.

Law / Question on conversion of a Schengen visa to Polish Temporary Residence Card (TRC) [13]

Merged:

Schengen visa to Karta pobytu

Hi,

I have a single entry - schengen visa for a period of 30 days (CEL WYDANIA 23). I would like to apply for a Job search visa with my university diploma where i recently graduated.

Can i extend this visa into Karta pobytu (TRC) normally? or Is there a special case for this?

Thanks in advance!

Law / No availability to apply for Poland's National Visa. Indian national married to Polish. [30]

Can you explain to me how this is such a problem for you? You did the same in the other thread.

They wouldn't look for a solution if they aren't in emergency. There are many people who apply visa for the first time, so its normal they seek help from groups or forums like this.

So either help or just don't, Simple! You don't need to rude.

Law / Help regarding Poland's National 'D' Visa Appointment at Mumbai Consulate! [719]

@Ancy rose

I didn't understand your previous question, my mistake!

Yes, they typically send the application form sooner but since it's the time of Christmas, it may take a while.
I'm sure you have time for your appointment. Mail them again after 27th/28th DEC, or call them until they pick up if your date is nearing and let them know your situation.

Meanwhile, you can arrange other documents which are required and once you get this application form, you are ready to go!
This shouldn't be a thing to worry ;) Keep your fingers crossed.

Consulate of Poland in Mumbai will not mail anything to you. Once you have registered for the date and filled the form, it will automatically go in their system.

During your appointment, you have to take the printed application form with the supporting documents.

(or)

If you are talking about their visa process, it will take maximum of 14 calendar days (30 in rare cases). You have to go and collect the passport by yourself or by some authorized person.

"Indians have a stupid habit of presenting counterfeit or altered documents. It's not a big deal in India"

I quite agree on that part. But stereotyping the whole nation because you encountered or known such kind of people by coincidence or through some medium isn't fair.

*Stereotype is a disease and a brother of racism*

Mentioning 'Few, Some or even More' before you begin a sentence wouldn't take long, man.

@KnightHawk

I don't know which travel agency you approached, but typically the reservations can be hold up to 7-15 days, which means they are valid for 1-2 weeks max. So better make your reservation two days before your visa appointment. Considering your visit is on Dec 4th, it's quite surprising to know that you haven't already figured out all these details. Nevertheless, it isn't too late either.

Even for my full time studies, i had to show both onward and return itinerary. As i said, it doesn't cost much.
You can book the original tickets once your visa will be ready.

Again, just go through this page:
mumbaj.msz.gov.pl/en/consular_information/visa/mumbaj_in_k_35

You will find all the details.

There is even a information of which insurances one should buy. Bajaj Allianz and Royal Sundaram are few good ones.
You can buy it online, take it for a period of one month for your safety. It costs only around 1500 - 2500 INR.

Don't risk your chances by providing fake documents.

Cheers!

@KnightHawk

Not sure about the offer letter part. But you must have an insurance or some proof about it, to show during your visa interview. Better check it out.

About the flight reservation, there are some websites which don't charge for the reservation but it could be fake.
But the normal reservation costs only around 10% of the original ticket fare.

@KnightHawk

Hi,

I'm from Chennai and I also have visa appointment in Mumbai consulate on Dec 4th.

You can find all information including the fees in here:
mumbaj.msz.gov.pl/en/consular_information/visa/mumbaj_in_k_35

It says:

"All visa fees should be paid at the Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (address: 75, Rehmet Manzil, Veer Nariman Road, Churchgate, Mumbai-400020) by cash or by demand draft in favour of the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Mumbai. The payment should be made prior to the submission of the visa application at the Consulate. You may deposit your payment at the ADCB's counter from Monday till Friday between 10.30 and 16.00 (except bank holidays)"

They won't mail it to you. You have to collect it personally or appoint someone officially who can collect it on your behalf and so the person can send you.

Cheers!

Law / INVITATION FOR POLAND'S VISA PROCESS - graduated student [3]

@DominicB

That's what i meant, a normal invitation would suffice, which i will get by this week.

I don't think my gf's family or me will have problems regarding financial issues. ;) They would do anything for me to be there.

I would have extended my karta pobytu already during my time in Poland, if i wanted to seek a job there. I went to Poland only for my studies, and I'm booking for my return flight tickets. I have a few years experience so I have better offers back in my country which i don't want to miss.

I know whether to forget my gf or not (which i won't) ;) thanks for the suggestion by the way!

Do widzenia.

Law / INVITATION FOR POLAND'S VISA PROCESS - graduated student [3]

Hi,

I am planning to apply for schengen visa for one month at the Polish consulate in Mumbai, as I have a graduation event in my university. Do i need any Invitation letter or proof about this from my university? If yes, should I legalize this university invitation in Poland?

I'll also be visiting my girlfriend and her family for Christmas and New year celebrations during this time. So do i need any official invitation from their side?

Thank you!

Law / Tourist visa to Poland for Indian citizen, invitation letter. [57]

Jugnroses

Hi,

I was a student in one of the technical universities in Poland. I came back to my country (India) without extending my residence card there.

Now, i'm planning to visit Poland to receive my Diploma (Degree) and spend Christmas, new year time with my girlfriend and come back to India.

So

1. What type of schengen visa do i need to apply? (Tourist/Others)

2. What are the documents do i need to submit? (Do i need some invitation or proof from my gf?)

3. Do i need to book or reserve the flight tickets?

Thank you!

Law / Re-entry into the Republic of Poland [2]

Dzien dobry,

I finished my course in one of the technical universities from Poland recently. As i started to look for a job in my field; I got ban from Polish border guard (Straz graniczna) since my application for karta pobytu was stopped in urząd wojewódzki due to late submission of papers. Fortunately, my ban to re-enter Poland will be cancelled this week.

I'm already in my country and I would love to come back to Poland to receive my diploma, look for a job and be with my gf.

My question is:
What kind of visa do i need to apply from my country (India) to come back? (as I'm no longer student)

I'm really concerned about the outcome of the visa interview. I would be glad if someone can help.

Thanks in advance,
Harry

Law / Poland's Karta Pobytu (Residence card) Rejection [2]

As a foreigner in Poland, I applied for my karta pobytu (before my old card expired). I received the first letter which said i need to submit the missing documents in the next 7 days. My mistake that i submitted couple of my remaining documents only after few months. Due to this, my application cannot be processed further (Not a negative decision) Since my old card already expired, my stay in Poland has now become illegal. In order to apply once again, my status needs to be legal.

So my inspector asked me to go back to my country asap, get a visa, come back here legally and apply for my next karta pobytu. Since i graduated recently, will i get a direct job search visa if i apply in my country? and How long should i wait in my country before applying for a visa again?

(or)
Can i apply schengen tourist/job search visa through German consulate? because Polish embassy is more than 1300 kms away from my home, whereas German consulate is next door to my home.

Thank you in advance!
