Any further help would be appreciated, I'm sure there must be some site or method how to figure this out.

Thank you for trying to help me, but I know about this, but this requires a number with prefix which seems to be a new number and not a number that was used back in those old days, so this what I'm trying to figure out, how can it be converted to the new numbers or how I can figure out the new number based on the old number.

Going thru all the past post, I still don't see if there is any bank in Poland who will open an account for a Polish citizen with PESEL but who does not reside or have an address in Poland.

I would appreciate if someone can confirm this or post a Bank that will open an account in such situation.

May I ask you if you changed you name in the foreign country too? as my attorney in Poland told me that I can only change in a name in Poland after I have it changed in the country I was born, as Poland will not allow to have 2 passports (Polish & Foreign) with 2 different names.

Also what do you mean they mailed you papers to amend the birth certificate isn't this done simultaneously?

Is the decision by a judge?
