Life / Best area to live in Lower Silesia, Poland? Property in a countryside. [33]

Hello there,

nice conversation going on here. I am new here, my partner and I were close to Llowek Slaski a few years ago for a holiday, and we are going there this summer for vacation. Does anyone has tips on where to stay? Anywhere close to Jeneia Gora, Llowek Slaskie, Donloslaskie, or around there would be fine. Last time we stayed in a log cabin, it was great, pretty pure, but this time a little luxury such as running water would be great.

And, we are thinking about buying a house there, we love it there so much. It would be a second home, and renting it out too. We love farming (permaculture) and it is our dream to settle there permanently in the long run. We have 3 kids and live in The Netherlands.

We are looking at houses on the sites that are mentioned here. The thing is, we don't speak Polish (yet) so it is pretty difficult to guess if a house is worth the money that is asked. I mean, we don't know the state of the house, one house may look great and be rotten inside, and the other house may look bad but may be really strong and good.

Do people hire someone / a company over there to see what defects there are, before they buy it? Is it realistic to think that one can buy a house for, say, 200.000 zloti and think the house is strong with hardly any defects? We are looking at houses around 100-200 living space, and 2.000 and up for a plot. There are restrictions I have read, we would love quite some land to live on, but that might not be so easy. 2.000-3.0000 would be fine though.

I don't think we are able to spend more than around 200.000 zl.

Thanks!
