Law / Non-EU citizen Temporary Residence: Regular and stable income clause [5]

Hello All,

I need some information on the possibility of getting a temporary resident permit for Non-EU citizen, living in Poland on Dependant VISA.
I am from India and will be moving with my family to Poland by next month. |
My wife and kid have applied for the dependant visa at Embassy and will be travelling with me. they will be getting a VISA for first six months only (due to non availability of Travel insurance for more than 6 months). I have a job offer and the work permit from an organization in Poland.

Following are my questions :
1) Once we land in Poland how soon can we apply for resident permit (temporary) ?
2) What are the chances of getting the Temporary resident permit ?
3) Will it be applicable for the whole family or just for me, I mean will my wife and kid also get the temporary resident permit ?

4) Can they get the resident permit before the expiry date of their dependant VISA (in our case it will be six months) and live with me legally in Poland

Law / Dependant Visa for my wife (going first time to Poland) [39]

Hello Nam0011,

I am sure you would know that you both have to apply for the National VISA for Poland.
To apply the same you first need to book an appointment date at the following website : secure.e-konsulat.gov.pl/
Once you get the appointment date next step is to fill an online registration form right after taking the appointment date.

The BIGGEST challenge is to get the appointment dates. They open the slots twice a month (1st and 15th of every month).
Make sure you both sit together and keep trying to get appointment date bcz there are very limited slots available.

Keep the following information handy while filling up the online form:
Your passport details
Work location in Poland (Address)
Address of the accomodation for your initial/permanent stay in poland.
Duration of Stay

After filling in the form you need to go to Embassy of Poland in person and submit the following documents:

For your husband:
Work permit
Offer Letter
Accomodation & Flight details (dummy tickets and hotel reservations can be provided by the travel agents at some cost)
Travel Insurance for 3 months
Passport original and its photocopy
Demand draft of Rs 4400 (drawn in favour of 'Embassy of the Republic of Poland', payble at Delhi)

For you (dependent)
Your Original passport and its photocopy (plz make sure your husband's name is mentioned in your passport under Spouse details)
Your husband's passport's photocopy
Marriage certificate
Your husband's offer letter and work permit photocopy
Your husband's VISA application reference number (just in case your husband has already applied for the VISA)
Bank account statements for last 6 months
Accommodation and flight details (make sure agent issue the same flight and hotel in dummy bookings as mentioned in your husband's application)
Demand Draft of Rs 4400 (drawn in favour of 'Embassy of the Republic of Poland', payble at Delhi)
Your travel insurance (remember that the duration of the VISA is same as that of your travel insurance, if you are planning for a long stay talk to some insurance agent to get you the travel insurance for that period in advance)

I guess that's pretty all stuff that you may require while applying for both the VISAs.

Brother you must have got good experience of the city by now. I may also need help about the city and looking at your experience with the city I guess you might be the right person for me. :)

I am also planning to land in Katowice may be by last week of March. I am also targeting Tysiaclecia to get a flat on rent.

Since you are already putting up there could you please share your thoughts about the place ?
Is it safe to live there with family ?
How about the supermarkets, are they enough to meet the daily needs ?
How long does it take you to commute to IBM Office at Francuska ? Is it practically possible to commute by cycle or only the car/trams are good ?

I am about to get the work permit (Type D) from a non Polish employer in Katowice following which I will be applying Visa at the Embassy of Republic of Poland in my country (India)

My queries are following:
1) What kind of VISA I am supposed to get with Type D work permit ?

2) If it's National D Visa can I apply the dependent visa (for my wife and kid) along my own Visa application? If NOT then how soon I can apply the same after arriving in Poland ?

I am from India and being offered a salary of 5500 zl (net) at IBM in Katowice.
Moving with my kid and wife.
What should be the monthly expenses, provided my kid's vaccinations are going on and i need to support my parents a bit at home. I have also invested in some savings plan in India and need to save at least Rs 1LC in an year for them.

Moreover i have an offer from an Indian Company of about 8850 zl (gross).

Please suggest !!!
