Do you mean at all (and with prior notice, it's easy to leave earlier without loosing a deposit or need to find another tenant) or just in the begging?

Also, is a usually required one month deposit a payment for the last month of stay or just money that is given back after leaving the flat?

Real Estate / Renting a flat in Warsaw for 9 months (no knowledge of Polish language) and prices [6]

Hi,

I arrive in Warsaw in a few days and plan to rent a flat (for the next 9 month).
Can there be a problem with renting for less than a year (can landlords ask for higher price, etc.)?

Is it easy to rent a flat not knowing Polish?(are landlords, real estate agents generally know English/ willing to deal with English speakers)?

What is the average rent for a good but small studio (~30 meters) flat not far from the center (Warsaw)?
I've found these sites and would like to hear any opinions, if somebody used them.
domy.pl
dom.gratka.pl (many ads with suspiciously low rent, 1000-1200 zl.)
