Po polsku / Czy Polskie liceum by przyjelo mnie do 1 klasy liceum jak wroce z Ameryki po szescioletnim pobycie w Ameryce? [7]
Hej, prosze nie zrozum mnie zle. Chce byc tylko chlodnym glosem rozsadku.
Testy po polsku sie robi/rozwiazuje, nigdy sie ich nie 'bierze', zastosowales typowa kalke z jezyka angielskiego. Obawiam sie, ze takich rzeczy moze byc zdecydowanie wiecej.
Na Twoim miescu poszukalabym szkoly z klasa przejsciowa (czy w ogole takie sa?). Niestety malo prawdopodobne, ze bedziesz mogl wskoczyc od razu na poziom pierwszej klasy liceum. Roznice programowe sa ogromne (na niekorzysc dla USA), a zapewne jeszcze dojda braki typowego, dziedzinowego slownictwa, ktorego nie miales mozliwosci nauczyc sie w USA.
Nie poddawaj sie jednak i dawaj znac, czy cos znalazles. Powodzenia! :)

Smurf and others who have problems with understanding such a basic thing - please understand that here is a different country with a different culture and a different language and some things may work differently than in your country, your culture and your language.

Life / Czas honoru (Time of honoru) TV serial [38]
I can tell something about Czas Honoru ;)
My fiancée loves it. He got hooked to Polish history even more by watching that (he has been already earlier very interested in it). What is also a huge asset, he has been studying much, while watching. I have to admit that his Polish is a lot better after those 7 seasons of CzH ;)
And I like it too. But for sure, it was good to my fiancée, that he was watching it with me, so I could easily and fast explain him some small issues, that are usually unclear and hard to catch for foreigner ;)

I am looking for some contact with Finns, who are now living in Poland. I am Polish, my future husband is Finnish. We are now placed in Finland, but strongly and consequently thinking about moving to Poland.
