I'm interested in opening a small Mexican Restaurant in Poland - looking for information [21]
I'm interested in opening a small Mexican restaurant somewhere in Poland (Warsaw, Poznan, or Krakow) with the most traditional dishes. I would like to keep it small and inviting with a small staff (two waitresses and one cook) that I would hire locally. I've seen the competition and I think I have a great product to offer which will attract a lot of Polish folks (will travel there to have a closer look). I'm looking for information on how hard it is to open a restaurant. What is the minimum wage? How much are taxes? Where are good locations? Good real estate companies? Trusted accounting company? Is it better to buy or lease as a non-Polish citizen? Is it worth applying for liquor license?.......etc.
I'm fluent in English and Spanish and have a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture (mainly apples, cherries and pears).
Looking for a new venture; hope that someone in this forum can provide some feedback.
I plan on traveling to Warsaw and surrounding areas in the next couple of month, and would like to find a company or people that can help answer some questions and show me locations while I'm there. Very interested in opening the lines of communication sooner than later though, this way we can get to know each other and also have the hardest questions asked and answered before I arrive
Thanks in advance!!!
Felipe
