Travel / Warsaw city bikes [14]

I have just tried to join this scheme - unfortunately it looks like you need to register a credit/debit card which is linked to a Polish bank account. Obviously this excludes anyone who hasn't got a Polish bank account - me included. Am I being thick or is there some other way to access these bikes? I hope so because it looks like a great scheme!

Life / Code to top up Poland's Play sim card? [11]

That doesn't work. Thanks anyway

So I found out the answer - if anyone else has this problem, dial *111*(fourteen digit code on your receipt)hash (I don't have a hash key on my mac but I'm sure you all know what I mean).

Cheers

Life / Code to top up Poland's Play sim card? [11]

Thanks for the tip Wroclaw. However, if either of your suggestions were an option tonight, I wouldn't be asking on here.

Anyone?

Life / Code to top up Poland's Play sim card? [11]

Please, someone, for the love of god, help me. All I want to do is top up my Play pay-as-you-go sim with the credit I bought from my local shop. The receipt has the verification code on it but I'm fcuked if I can find what the prefix is (i.e. *123*verificationcodehash). Seriously, its not on the details that came with the sim card, I can't find it on the Play.pl website and it's not on the receipt. WTF?

It's like Play don't want me to use their network? If I can't get this sorted by tomorrow morning its going in the bin and I'm buying an Orange sim card.

Frustrating! aaaaagh

So, I've been down there today - seems like a great facility, just not a tennis 'club' - it's more just courts for hire by the hour it seems. On that note, anyone want to meet up for an hour's hit one night this week? I'm pretty out of shape, but we all have to start somewhere I guess..

Ideally I'd like to have a regular group meet up, apparently they don't offer that at Korty. Shame. I'll keep my ears open for another place that does...

Superb, thanks 1jola. I'll check out korty this week. Thanks for the tip about Gold's too, I have some colleagues who are after a good pool/gym combo.

mickstar13, I'll be in touch as soon as I have got myself registered down there - It won't be for a week or two though as my tennis kit doesn't arrive till this weekend!

Cheers!

Merged: Anyone for Tennis - In Warsaw?

Evening all,

As the football has been rained off, I thought I'd change the sporting subject...

I've just moved here from UK, have been looking for an all in one gym/tennis club/swimming pool in the Mokótow area (I'm living near the Galeria shopping centre). Apparently that's not available here, I have found some good gyms and the swimming pool in Wodny Park - can anyone reccommend a good tennis club? Preferably with indoor and outdoor courts so that I can play all year round. I'm here basically on my own, so a club with a group sessions would be great until I can find regular playing partners around my level.

Dziękuje!
