Genealogy / any towns that are pronounced as Koscov? [8]

Hi, I'm an American genealogist who is trying to find an ancestor of a coworker of mine. She knows that he was born November 12, 1892, in a town that sounds like Koscov. His last name after he came to the USA was Miskowicz, but before he left Poland, it was Miscowiec. All I need to know is if there are any towns that, when pronounced by native English-speakers, sounds like Kaus-kauv. I obviously reprinted it phonetically. And if anybody knows of the Miscowiec family who'd be able to help me out...I'd appreciate it! ~Shauna~
