I dont think we will turn into France or Western countries soon.
the main thing is that we dont accept muslim here. Mix couple had really hard life (muslim and catholic). Also Polish people are friendly and open but on the other hand they dont like when we mix with foreigners.

Im working for English company and my English/New Zeland's colleagues were very surprised not to see any black or asian people in Poznan during their visit in this town.

I would say that if you need to rent a flat like in Poznan or in Wroclaw you need at least 3500-4000PLN net per month which is not to high not too low. Its easy now to get job between 2000-2500PLN net in such cities but it wont be enough for you. Renting flat cost there about 1500-2000PLN and Im saying about 1 bedroom (including living room). Its always better to coook buy yourself which is cheaper and healthier here then to go to bars. Warsaw is more expensive so you need to earn more. I think that Germans prefer to stay in Wroclaw or in Poznan, because its closer to the border and there are lots of Germans there as well. You can also think about Szczecin. Its only 10 km from Germans border and not so far away from Berlin and Baltic sea. But Wroclaw is the most dynamic place in Poland now, and you will find there job easily comparing with other cities.

as a Polish girl I can give you an advice :) also because I have some Scandinavians friends ;)
I found that not many Scandinavians interests in Slavic countries how ever I see that with the years it changes. When they visit Poland for a first time they are always suspicious and they dont know what they can find here.

Polish girls are used to be hunt by a man unlike in Sweden were women hunt for men at its notting wrong with that.
If you want to find really honest and nice girl. Dont start to talk about money. First try to interested her with yourself. We like funny, honest and patience men. Here if the guy is fall in love with the woman he will do everything for her. You need a little time and you will find a good girl.

I see lots of difference between Scandinavians and Slavs, but I have seen also a lot of interests from Scandinavian boys to Polish girls. Once they meet each other they create really good relations.

Girls love you also because you are more helpfull with house duties which is still unusual for Polish guys.
