Poland is a great untapped holiday destination the language barrier frightens off alot. But the citys of wroclaw, krackow and warsaw are getting more popular every year i prefer the southern mountain regions better food and drink although no one speaks english so it gives us a nice break from the UK. Klodsko although the only thing their was a fort with deep underground tunnels so we had to travel by PKP to the neighbouring areas some really nice mountains it was the most beautifull place a saw some aerated rocks and visited many small towns one translated was called in between forests. But i doub many english have adventured poland shame really because the beer food and women are great. Although i hasten to add not easy tramps like the english seem to think. SO naive are my fellow englishmen although most od us are leaving england due to non eu invasion most to australia lot of polish heading that way as well it seems you really need a passport to get in austrlia not just a burka

Does anyone know anywhere to go carp fishing in poland. I fished paprocany in tychy and caught nothing i saw some place called carp valley in poland. But wondered if anyone knew any good lake preferabley south of warsaw

I saw a polish guy catch a pike or schupak (my polish spelling aweful) in tychy water and 4 tonne of carp went into paprocany in tychy before i left the fishing tickets are very reasonable you usually need to go on a course and have instruction to get your licence but if your a foriegn holiday maker you just pay per visit. I had to take my own own tackle as hiring out thier was non existant. I am lucky to have such a wonderfull girlfriend to translate for me. it is easy to obtain a licence so ignore people who say it isnt the licence allows you to fish a number of lake in the region but the water balliffs raely speak english hence the need for a polish translator.

Gulf state you mean the muslim countrys hahaha how you make me laugh oil is not expensive the producers dont make the money the tax applied in westrn countrys makes up the profit not the producers we in thw west have massive reserves of the black stuff and our polictians can get what ever price they want for it oil isnt in short supply and hence the price the producers demand is not really negotaible we got iraq, afgan and shorty irans oil. the arab nations have no chance.
