You see footage of any gun crime in London or manchester and even if these days its a multi kulti meld of all races they all have two things in common, pants hanging below their arses and preposterous side ways shooting of pistols

Yep. The US black thug culture has led the proliferation of gun violence. The Left here has tried to use this is their effort to disarm everyone, as if everyone was as angry and childishly irresponsible.

The bipartisan US Congress won't be going along with Obama/ UN gun control treaty:

Ratification requires two-thirds of the Senate. So far 57 senators have said they would vote against the treaty

Number of car-related deaths vs. number of gun-related deaths simply won't do. The safety measure has to be something like (number of times used)/(number of deaths). In other words, cars get used a helluva lot more than guns do, on any reckoning. Now compare number of times firearms are used/number of deaths caused by firearms.

Cars kill more people than guns! Clearly we must ban all cars at once! Whawhawhaaaaaa!!!!!!!1

Maybe you should. The impetus for more guns in European society is this incident where the lack of camp counselors with guns which could have greatly reduced the body count.

The PA Constitution goes one step further and states that the right of individuals to keep and bear arms "shall not be questioned." -Not so much as questioned. Perhaps this is an argument for 'conceal and carry'? If some of the adults there had a weapon then the madman would not have kept shooting so incredibly long.
This event shows that honest people should be allowed to own and carry guns.

Of course, of course it does. But the emotional gun-fearing childish folks here are trying to somehow spin this event in the opposite direction. Reality doesn't mean much to such folks.

Wasn't the shooter gay or pro-gay or something? Maybe the cops should be kicking in the doors of such people to make sure there aren't any more violent shooters out there.

It means nothing and certainly it does not mean that having armed security is completely worthless. This is ONE event, when statistical proof shows us that guns in law abiding hands indeed reduce violent crime.

The Childish Left is just so fearfully anti-gun that they'll say any old thing... Lol.

I wonder what those in Oslo think of guns right now?

Armed camp counselors could have saved dozens of lives on the island that day. Norway's restrictive gun laws are to blame for the high casualty count. Unarmed peeps are helpless sitting ducks and killers know this and target them.

this thing about the rich getting richer and not paying their fair share of taxes is indisputably false. It is not even in the same universe as reality. The rich pay the vast majority of taxes in the US. Most earners (like myself) who make $50,000.00 or less pay little to no income tax--most is refunded to them when they file their taxes. I know of what I speak, I work in the field.

Yep. Gun-grabber Libs never want to talk about this. They use the black violence in their effort to disarm everyone.

Chicago, the other week-end, there were 5 murders and 18 others wounded. That was just the week-end. All 23 victims were minorities and all perpetrators were minorities. I'm also willing to bet that none of the guns involved were duly registered.

A couple years ago gun violence was nuts in Philly, the black-on-black murder rate was through the roof. This led to much hymning and hawing and hand wringing and gun-grabbing efforts. Then it was revealed that a full 70% of the murder victims were themselves violent felons. Suddenly the hand wringing stopped. The silence was quite noticeable. I suspect most were like me and were 70% perfectly ok with the murder rate. Lol.

America has been taught that guns are a necessity- it is no longer the case. This right stems from the beginning of colonization and is no longer valid.

Parents have made the personal choice not to chop their kids for various reasons that are mentioned earlier in the thread.

Fine. So long as they make such decisions freely without being pressured by the meddling mob.

I think it has become obvious from this thread that the reason more Poles don't do it is because of the anti-snipping militants bullying them.

I think this smart guy may be onto something here. Perhaps this bullying mob mentality, bent on controlling the private lives of others, we have seen here is a holdover from Poland's Commie days?

I don't really care so much about it. I just always make it a point to oppose militant Lefties who refuse to just MTOFB as they try to bully their will onto others.

It displays the tyrannical mob mentality of the Left. And if left unchecked, such mentality leads to actual policy, as we are presently seeing in the US where a few LibCommie communities are actually TRYING TO OUTLAW circumcision. Crazy.

Poles, like everyone else, should have the personal freedom to decide such private things without the mob bullies having any say in the matter.

Circumcision is a personal choice of parents, much as is to breast feed or not...
