To be clear: I wasn't suggest that I am a "middle aged rich American who is searching for a 20-something Polish bombshell" but that the replies to my post have turned me into that.

Thank you, everyone, for your responses. I find it interesting that I have become a middle aged rich American who is searching for a 20-something Polish bombshell.

I'm not looking for a Playboy model, and she doesn't have to be 22 years old. I don't think Poland is a flea market. It's not all that complicated. I'm not chasing a dream here. I met a couple of Polish girls (very average on the surface) and after conversation, I was intrigued. I did some studying on basic values and was more intrigued. I figure, hey, what not? I am a pretty smart guy, so I can learn the language (or at least enough of it) in a year or so and then I'll take it from there.

The worst case is that I learn a new language (my fourth) and go on a few nice vacations. The best case is that I somehow meet a nice girl along the way.

I'm sure my odds are slim, but they're better than if I never learn the language and never visit the country, right?

Yeah, I would want to bring her back to the USA. I'm pretty well situated here. I don't think the company I work for is opening an office in Warsaw anytime soon! I'll just keep studying the language and maybe I'll catch one's attention with my American accent while I'm there.

If all they are looking for is money, then I am not looking for them! There must be decent, down to Earth girls in Poland who wouldn't mind starting a new life with a good guy in the USA.


I have no children because I never got married. I'm not bitter at all! I just ended up with the wrong girls and spent the rest of my time working.
