Genealogy / Grzeskowiak/Homski [3]

Searching for any information on families of this name.

My paternal grandmother was Stella Homski and I know that she lived in an area that was close to the German border and that the area had apple orchards.

She has a sister named Helena who has a son called Christian who would be in his late 50's (approx) now.

She married someone with the surname Grzeskowiak and during the war I believe that Stella and Helena (and possibly their husbands) were made to work for a german chemist as they spoke the language.

After the war they migrated to Australia. Stella's 2 children are Janina and George and upon moving to Australia they changed their surname to Graey.

if ANY information can be supplied on possible family members or possible locations of towns or regions that fit the information supplied i would be incredibly grateful.

thanks in advance
