Haha, it seems there is no agreement on what has been said about who wants to learn/ who speaks/ and who doesn't speak and wants to learn Polish. Maybe there will be a volunteer to make a survey :) then all will be clear :)

I know 2 places where you can learn Polish in Katowice attending a language school. Here you have 2 links, 1st - typical language school, 2nd - a course conducted at the university.

it's useful for learning all phrases, there is just a sample, the source is a bit limited, but still you can at least chalange yourself with Polish pronunciation:)

Real Estate / Moving to the Katowice area soon! Safe neighborhood for an Irish man? [38]
I am living in Katowice. When it comes to place where you should rent a flat etc. it depends as well where you gonna to work, so the distance wasn't too big. There are some place where I wouldn't recommend you to live, but I think even if you ae going to look for a flat you can assess on your own, whether the are is friendly or not.
If you have some specific problems/questions let me know, I will try to advice you.

I do teach Polish via Skype. If you are interested, I will help you. Unfortunately the lessons are not for free, but the price is very competitive, so I think it's worth to give it a try. I provide new students with two trial lessons for free, after which they can decide whether to continue, or not without financial consequences.

I offer some trials lessons for free, so you can decide whether it suits you or not, without losing any money. If I charge some money for the lessons, the price is rather low, just 20zl/h.
