Thanks.. and not looking for people to join, this is just a fun project (albeit time consuming~there are many famous Polish Americans out there!). My post was also in answer to the initial one here "Famous Polish people - we've actually heard of." (I'm Polish American so that's why I'm personally focusing on famous PolAms.) Just thought folks out there would find our research interesting and would like to offer comments/suggestions! We already have too many listed with photos/bios and how exactly they are 'Polish' to post them all here.

P.S. We have Stella/Stanislawa listed as well, BTW!

Kościuszko, is that better.. a typo, I did go to Polish school. (But glad you noticed.) Already have Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora, Ed Kowalczyk, Pola Negri, Stephanie Powell, Jane Krakowski, Bonnie Hunt, Christine Baranski, Jane Kaczmarek, Paul Wesley (Wasilewski)--Vampire Diaries and many others. Why don't you check out the FB celeb page? There should be no typos there... ;) And I would love to get some more feedback on our progress!

Looks like this discussion ended a year ago.. too bad, can we resurrect it? :) My company has actually been researching this subject and we started a page on facebook called Polish American Celebs dedicated to featuring PolAms in art, film, literature, sports, business etc. (Of course we will get to the 'basics' like Copernicus and Kosciusko too.) It's an exciting (down time) project... and I would love to get opinions and suggestions from you all! Thanks for reading!
