Hi. I'd like to point out that Y-chromosome haplogroup is useless when one wants to find what nationality Copernicus was. This chromosome is inherited through the male line.That means that only one male ancestor among hundreds of your grand grand -...-grand ancestors is taken into account. This is useful when we want to find some general trends in human migrations but not when we have to say if somebody is a Pole or a German. It is simply a misconception. People who conduct such reaserch just want to attract attention. They know it proves nothing.
