Off-Topic / What's your connection with Poland? Penpals. [512]

Well...in 1999 i went over to Poland to watch speedway / Żużel - and from the minute i got out of the taxi by warszawa centralna , i was in love.

We had a fantastic night out in warsaw...then a train up to bydgoszcz, then fell in love with Poland even more..

The friendliness, the innocence, the humility, the humour, the way in which in they welcomed us.... it was all part of it. I've experienced many many things there, and i look forward to every visit.

Over the years, i've tried to teach myself Polish, and whilst i'm not fluent by any means whatsoever, i know enough to make some friends, to survive, and to love the country.

I cherish every time i'm lucky enough to get off the plane and see the white and red in front of me...

Polska biało czerwone ;-)

Well, thats it..

Tom.
