Sopot is good, but it has a bit "old" feeling - like Krakow

That is probably why I like Sopot. I have never thought of that before. I go every year for holiday there ,and I love the peace and tranquility, and no Mcdonalds, and crazy stupid people. Sopot should be kept a secret.

you have a very beautiful country

Yes I know England is also beautiful. Do you really have snow in Krakow, or is it in the mountains? I have a friend who does walking guides into the Tatras.

it is like a plug hole in the bottom of a bath, try as you might, you'll always end up there ha ha

I feel quite envious of you, what is the degrees right now, I know that there is no snow, otherwise my friend would have told me, or am I wrong?

I also move around a lot but I just keep coming back to around Krakow.

I know there is something just inexplicable about Krakow, that keeps you coming back! very hard to describe. I just love the place.

Life / "Londynczycy" - new Polish soap [62]

Only if it includes a Factory Worker, schizophrenic doctor with homosexual tendancies, shop manager and police officer separated at birth. Apparently those are in great demand, if we are to belive some forum posters of course!

Just for a laugh... how would I go about getting a walk-on part?

Oh! I think there is more involved in the walk-on part than you may anticipate.

Life / "Londynczycy" - new Polish soap [62]

factory worker, a doctor, a shop manager and a policeman

Yes I see the setting .A factory worker is looking in M&S for Xmas presents for the family, when suddently he is persued by a schizophrenic doctor, who is not a real doctor but thinks that he is, the policeman, who has been sent to monitor the situation realizes that the factory worker is infact his polish twin separated at birth. The shop manager physically restrains the doctor only to re-establish homosexual tendancies that have been dormant for many years. Shall I continue!

Yes you are right, we have Big brother, and Eastenders to show the rest of the world how intellectual, sophisticated and well-read us Brits are.

My connection is that I lived in Krakow for 5 years. I have to admit ,when I first went there ,I thought, that it was an impossible place for me to live.Fights in the Poczta, fights in the supermarkets (the small sklep ones) miserable polish people at the bus stop, who looked at me like I had two heads. The first year was hell. I remember, after a particular encounter at the post office, coming out and shouting in the street, out of frustration "I just cannot understand this F...... mentality" in the middle of the street. yes right next to the bus stop, whilst everyone were about to board the bus.

I calmed myself down, and winter turned to summer, and I can honestly say, during the course of my 5 years I have met some great people, thats why I go back at least twice a year. I ended up loving Krakow. It was the greatest 5 years of my life, and I still miss it everyday. To my friends that do not speak so much English, we have formed our own language which is half english and half polish but we understand each other.

I do the Krakow marathon each year, and I see people I knew 5 years ago when I was training.

I love to see it when two nations come together, because everyone can learn from each other there is so much to be gained.

Even the people at the Pocza are changing, or are they?
