Work / I got a job in Krakow for 3500 zl Brutto...is it ok ? [33]

in the offer I've just received is reported this sentence:

I may be requested to undergo training organized by the Employer under the terms and conditions of the training set forth in the contract. In return for my participation in the training and the cost incurred by HCL on such training, I agree to continue my employment at the Company for a minimum period of 12 months from the beginning of the training.

Do you think they could do something like that or it is just a sentence with no sense ?
As far as i know from the time you get a contract you are free to leave the job whenever you want...Am I right ?

Thanks in advance

Thanks for the answers.
I don't have any experience in that field and it's gonna be my first job.....I mean real one....call centers and stuff like that apart.

The company is HCL...an Indian company which is co-operating with different countries around the world...the are mostly looking for foreigners which can speak different languages....

Taxation is exactly 19 % ?
Maybe good opportunity to start ?

Work / Salary, holidays - questions to employer during a job interview in Poland [47]

Delphiandomine.......u're totally right in this...my "fault".
And..yes probably could be done by a pole too....but if they chose an Italian...maybe it's better to them

Salary for the position is more or less set before you go there, and they will make you the offer if they like your qualifications whether your expectation is high or low.

U mean if u had answered I expected 2500 they were going to give me 1600 anyway ? (yes it is netto)

It's a company who control some movement of goods all over Europe, My field is the Italian Market, stay in touch with Italian parterns, collaborate with them, customer service and other stuff like that...I think it's a nice job...just the salary isn't that attractive !

Work / Salary, holidays - questions to employer during a job interview in Poland [47]

well...today I've got an interview...and I've got this question related to the first 3 month (trial contract), before to answer they told me after 3 months the salary will get higher if they decided to hire me definitely...I told them minimum 1600 on hands for the first period...I know it's not a lot...but listening my polish friends isn't that bad...I'm still studying and I speak little polish...the job is connected with the italian market...I need to speak 90% of the time in Italian and the rest in Polish....what do u think ? too low salary ?

Hello !!!
I have noticed during my job interviews in Poland they always ask me about my expectation of salary.
SHouldn't be like they tell u how much is the salary and u'll say if u're agree or not ??
I never know which kind of answer I have to give to this question !!

Food / Buying alcohol, wine in Poland. It's very difficult. [79]

Hei !!
Do u know why to buy alcohol in Poland is soooo difficult ? I mean...In Most of places (careffour example) alcohol is only behind a special cash desk and If u want a bottle of wine U have to sign it or tell the name of the brand.

Sometimes I need just to look at the label to choose my wine..but that's not possible cause I should ask the lady to bring me all the wines I wanna see one by one....isn't damned boring ???

bye and thankz
