Life / Poles are not racist [873]

I only feel sorry for racists, you are so consumed with your own hate of others you probably miss the beauty in all things.

To tell the truth, every day I learn something new and all that because I have the chance to mix with people of different cultures. I couldn't be more lucky. I'm still ashamed when I see or hear some Polish people in the street, but after 3 years in England I came to think about them (not all) as simpletons who will (hopefully) die out sooner or later.Though I'm 100% white and straight, I couldn't live in such discriminatory society.

What I do not like:

- UK being eaten by Muslims (in Dudley thousands of people protest against new mosque, but their opinion is ignored by 10 Downing St; billboards emphasizing the importance of police dog section with a sweet puppy in the picture protested by Muslims as HARAM and subsequently taken down - my Muslim friends were shocked)

- lazy Black people being sacked for laziness and screaming 'racism'!!!!

I've never been racist, I hate racism, but sometimes I think that political and religious correctness has gone too far in this country. My boyfriend (Muslim) and friends (Polish, English, Jamaican, Pakistani, Indian) are of the same opinion.
