News / Don't let Poland become like my country, France. [630]

Too long story to tell at once. Too much foreign currency in hand of government works not very good for average russian citizen.

I got it.
Why aren't you starting some program of European immigration to Russia? As America in 1850-1900.
Such wast territory , rich with minerals and oil and gas!!

You are saving this resources, but for whom when young Russians are living to USA, Canada, UK, Germany.

On the end all of that will belong to Asians!

For now, Germans is so heavily brainwashed with "renewable energy" tales so looks like they forgot how some basic mathematics work. ;)

There is only one solution.
But unfortunately we have to to wait about 50 years

Russians have excellent tanks but terrible cars
Excellent anti-missile rockets but terrible buses
Excellent howitzers but terrible trucks.

It's something wrong in their way of thinking!

I don't belong to that liberal BS, but we have to note other side of medal:
North America is 70-80 % white,
South America 30-40%
Australia 80-90 %
Asians part of Russia is also under white domination.

All that areas were colonized by whites.

White peak in history is over.

Now is turn of some others.

Sad but true.

Well...our Turks are often still quite religious and won't allow a marriage to a non-muslim and demand from the german girl conversion, that is quite common.

There is a reason for the 9% only after so many decades of living together...Islam has a bad image with the Germans!

Entering of Turkey in EU with 100%certainty means another 2-3 millions Turks in Germany (because they have already family in Germany).

BB,is Germany so stupid to let Turkey in EU?

Life / Why Poles have so pro-emigration attitude? [85]

The region Slavonia about 1000 euro/m2.

Zagreb and surround about 1500 euro/m2

And very expensive Dalmatia region 2000 euro/m2.

We in Croatia had problem with banks (mostly owned by Italians, German and Austrian 'mother' banks)because their interest rate for housing loan were ekstremly high: 7% or 8%.

And consequence was that many flats were build but unsold.

Our goverment was intervened and forced banks to lowed interest rate to 4%-5%.

Teacher wage in Croatia is about 700 euros.

So, let say teachers a husband and a wife have decision to take the loan for the flat of 100 000 euros (price 1500 euro/m2 is flat about 67 m2).

Monthly rate on 30-years loan would be 500 euros.

Monthly wage of husband and wife 1500 euros.

Monthly rate is 33% of monthly wage.

How about in Poland salaries of teachers and prices of flats?

Life / Why Poles have so pro-emigration attitude? [85]

Because when there is no work you can't buy anything. many of my wife's friends are university educated and, until recently, weren't able to find decent paying work.

Nowhere in the world university education is not guaranty for the job anymore.

You Poles are similar to us, Croatians: You want house and god car in term of 5 years.

50% Germans and Austrians don't have they own property.
This is one reason why they could have shine cars, gadgets, so much travel on the world.

Poles (as Croatian to) want and big house, and shine car, and gadgets, an the so much travel on the world

Life / Why Poles have so pro-emigration attitude? [85]

Every european nation has great diaspora, and Germans and Italians, and English, and Spaniards and Poles and Croats.

I don't talking about that.

I'm talking about what's mean 'poor country' and what's mean 'rich country'.

Why on your opinion Poland is 'poor country' and Germany 'rich country'?

Life / Why Poles have so pro-emigration attitude? [85]

A one million emigrated to America/Canada, a half million to Australia, a million to UK, and now preparing another million to Germany!

Poland has 40 millions habitants but this millions of emigrants is heavy blow to population in Poland!

I don't get it why is so massive departure to abroad!!
Poland is cohesive nation state without trouble minorities.
Communism is gone 20 years ago.

I mean, I know reason, who has salary in Poland 500 Euro he wants 1500 Euro in abroad and who has 1000 wants 3000 in abroad.

But why this euros is so much important to Poles?
It is not everything in Euros/dollars!!

Life with friends, family, own cultural habit is much more worth than 1000 euros bigger month salary.

North American reservation would cost a lot more than one made from within Europe?

First time in my life I heard for this!!I don't know why Americans always thinking that someone wants to robbed them!!!

If you have a top 5 list of things that would entertain kids, and adults, cultural activities, scenic highlights or other personal recommendations, that would be great!

1. Offcours, The Old city in the Dubrovnik with its famous city walls (from 11.-14. century) . Houses inside walls are after great earth quake 1667.
Many old churches, museums, the aquarium, summer cinema , shops,
Especialy amazing is cable car from place near city walls to top of hills 'Srđ' above Dubrovnik.

And on top of that hills you have cafe and restaurant in an austrohungarian old fortress and amazing view on old town, complete Dubrovnik and archipelago od dubrovnik's islands.

2. The small island 'Lokrum'.
It's about 1km from Old city.
It has amazing Mediterranean forest, little lake in middle of island, Benedictine church from 11.century, french old fortrees,

3. Sand beach 'Šunj' on the island Lopud , couple kilometers from Dubrovnik

4.Resort 'Vrtovi sunca' ( in english 'Sun gardens') in Orašac, 20 km from Dubrovnik.
Big touristic complex with pools, beaches, caffeteries, shops, hotels, apartmans, tennis courts, volleyball , ect.ect

5. Area Konavle, you have country tourism with horse ridding or country delishes food in original country houses.

Hello ShawnH!
I don't know what to say for Budapest, Vienna or Prague.
All three are masterpiece of world heritage and each of them has earned from tourism more than Croatia.

About Croatia:

You have 'nord' sector, 'central' sector and 'south' sector.

'Nord' sector (mostly Istria): Beautiful small towns: Umag, Poreè, Novigrad, Pula, Pazin , Brijuni (top touristic destination), Rab, Opatija.

'Central' sector (north Dalmatia): Zadar, Šibenik, Split, Nin, Zaton, Vodice, Zrće

'South' sector: Makarska, Dubrovnik.

And countless islands with historical villages and towns.

Half hour south of Karlovac you have also extra touristic offer: Plitvice lakes.

I'm living in Dubrovnik and if you want to know something about Dubrovnik you can ask me what you want!!
