I finally got round to reading the linked site its generally interesting but there are some errors in the description of bee behaviour especially their flight height and distance travelled.
The site reveals the answer to your question. I really think placing additional blossom is unnecessary despite what the linked site says. The average distance of travel for honey bees for example is 3 miles (4.5 Km) and they can and do fly well over 50 meters. the logic in the website seems sound but it is unnecessary as the pollinators (not just bees) will do the job for you. having said that it will do no harm.
I would think the additional blossom was sourced from a place more than a few Km away otherwise there is no point. Its interesting to me as I said I don't know anyone who does this. Do your neighbours have similar trees or is there a market for them?
Perhaps you are placing more blossom to aid pollination but again something doesn't seem right. Most cultivated fruit trees are self pollinating even if they are diploid or even triploid. I've never known anyone to do that so it must be something else.
If only Led Zep had acknowledged their sources at the time...
As much as I like early led zep they are a bit stale however there is lots of interesting things happening with Irish music at the moment.
Lankum and the side project ØXN each released stonkingly good albums last year. The cover of Scott Walker's Farmer in the city from his (now) cult album Tilt by ØXN is a triumph. Lankum are in demand for soundtrack work all over the world.
Scott Walker turned his back on the pop market and had the integrity to make the music he wanted. The two bands named above have been described as doom folk I think they are true to themselves. The players in the Bothy Band were lambasted for polluting music with the guitar driven rhythm which is now seen as typically folky.
Anyone who saw Shane MacGowan's funeral would have heard Lisa O'Neill's absolute unique and distinctive voice. Again last year, she released a great album repurposing Patrick Kavanagh's words but I think the best tracks are self written.
My guess would be that you are attempting to propagate the trees by layering however several things don't seen right. Fruit trees are usually grafted onto a suitable root stock and layering, even air layering, tends to use soil in the vessel to stimulate root growth. I have layered fig trees but never stone fruit. If I was doing that I would like to control the height with either dwarf or medium root stock but it looks like you have the space for full size trees.
@PolAmKrakow Are you saying that governments are deliberately distracting the public by using streaming services, the internet and tabloid reporting? I think thats a bit of an exotic theory.
Personally I dont like the modern world, its too vulgar I like sitting in front of the fire with a stick. I think the internet is for morons (apart from the bits I use) I have a list of other grumpy gripes but wont post them here, however It turns out that I'm not unique in world history. My parents thought it was weird as I sat listening to records in my bedroom, their parents thought it was weird they weren't cleaning chimneys and the great grand parents were happy complaining about the Tuatha De Danann.
There are no deliberate distractions, most people will scan the paper and all of them will read the story about the dog with two heads first. That is how people are, we love gossip. Sports washing etc are real strategies that governments use which is why the savage invasion of Iraq is portrayed as a feminist mission, the genocide in Gaza is Palestinians fault etc. Most people see right through those propaganda tools or they dont care.
The problem is using money as the base line for any particular activity.
It wasnt intended to hurt you. You seem a reasonably intelligent guy though one with a different political outlook, surely you can see these series of tweets are nothing more than propaganda.
Never looked at them but from your description they are clearly propaganda, the behaviour is similar to the Montenegrin guy who also posts propaganda videos
@Bratwurst Boy Have you any tweets on how cute the IDF is, perhaps some pics of young Israeli women with guns or any other obvious pieces of propaganda?
They have, and they've published their ruling on the spurious case lodged by South Africa. Namely that genocide has not occurred on the part of the country that South Africa accused.
That is not true its a lie.
From the ICJ website Pending cases...
Application of the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide in the Gaza Strip (South Africa v. Israel)
And now they've made their final ruling in the case
No they have not, this case will trundle on for a few years. The usual suspects will try to exert as much pressure on the panel of judges to deliver what they consider an acceptable verdict. The case is far from over.
No they choose to colonise those areas, its a messianic thing. The recent ethnic cleansing jamboree in occupied Jerusalem made that abundantly clear. Its cheap land and cheap housing, all state sponsored, and all belonging to Palestinians.
Its curious that the backbone of the colonists come from the US. The huge numbers of Russian/Ukrainian people who moved to Israel dont tend to live in the westbank or occupied Syria.
Yes, I've seen that the beacons of the free world - the United States, Canada, Germany, Australia and some
The same suspects who support the ICJ on an ad hoc basis.
@Bratwurst Boy I could turn the table and point out that a unitary state as proposed pre UN division plan would solve the issues. All Israel has to do is dismantle apartheid guarantee the right of return pay proper restitution for the land theft and ethnic cleansing. That would end the problem but then again what would all those people from Brooklyn do for second homes in the sun
