Genealogy / Polish looks? [1462]

I look very much like my grandfather who is 100% polish. The poles in his family have black hair, dark eyes, high cheekbones, prominent eyebrows, and they're all tall and husky. The women are tall and curvy, though. My older sister resembles the polish women on my grandmother's side. She's short, blonde, blue-eyed, curvy, and her cheekbones are not as prominent. I don't believe that your looks are based on which region of Poland you come from. No, I think it all has to due with the fact that before these countries ever existed, people were spread out and then came to one place to live. Because of that, everyone can look different no matter what area of the world they come from. That's why not all Germans are blonde and blue-eyed and why not all Danish people are blonde and blue-eyed, either.
