Genealogy / Seeking marriage and death records from Rzeszow [3]

Hi, my wife who is of Polish descent but born in Australia is trying to find out information about her Polish grandparents. We have done DNA but cant get anything closer than a handful of second cousin matches and lots of fourth and fifth cousin matches but because she has Polish paternal and Russian maternal grandparents we have no idea who is connected to who in her family and there is no one to ask that knows any relevant information.

They were Bernard and Maria Kowalewski maiden name Filipowicz. Bernard was born on the 16 Mar 1888 and died on the 22nd Dec 1950 and Maria was born on the 14 Jun 1886 and died on the 16 Sep 1942. They are both buried in the Cmentarz Pobitno in Rzeszow, which is where we got the dates from, though Bernard is apparently listed as Edward Kowalewski.

So what we would like to know is, how do we go about obtaining either a marriage or death record for Bernard and Maria and will either of those records list the parents names as that as what we are trying to find out but are finding it extremely difficult trying to get information here from Australia, so if anyone can point us in the right direction we would be very grateful

Thank you
