Words of wisdom. The not-so-funny part of this fat drama is that if you ask any of the fatsos what caused them to gain all that weight they will most likely tell you something about their bad genes, metabolism, addiction, being molested as kids, etc. Never that they eat like pigs (my apologies to pigs) and that they love it.

On the other side, if they could just die the day they qualify for Medicare, that would help keep the system fiscally sound. Unfortunately, many live long, if unhappy, lives while draining the funds desperately needed by those who did not affirmatively tried to get sick.

It happened to me except that my problem was being too skinny and weak. Looking back, the two publicly delivered insults, from my phys-ed teacher and a classroom cool girl, were exactly what I needed. Four years later, I placed 13 out of 27 in a bodybuilding competition in Sopot, with Andrzej Jasinski taking the top spot. Insults are good motivators.

In the US, free speech and the 1st Amendment is only between you and the US government. Nothing to do with your employer, stores, malls, etc. It means that you cannot be charged by the feds for saying anything other than revealing classified material or the names of the CIA agents, for example.

Under the 1st Amendment rules, the feds cannot censor and ban a publication. If a publication is deemed a threat to the country, the government has to go to a federal court and ask for an injunction.

In Western Europe, saying that you hate Muslims and the refugees is a criminal offense and will land you in prison. Or try saying that the holocaust didn't happen in Germany and see what happens. What will happen is the same damn thing that used to happen under communism. That's progress but I am not impressed. EU countries are like connected buckets with several of them happily taking in the sewer from Africa and Asia. Consistently with the laws of physics, that sewer spreads and there is little anyone can do about it. The problem is that the term "refugee" aquired a new meaning. A refugee, typically a woman with kids, used to be a person who needed a safe place while her homeland was on fire. Once the fire was out, refugees were expected to go back home. Not any more. Like herpies, refugees are forever. It's like a guest that never leaves after the party is over.

Another problem is that if a refugee leaves a shi--- like Guatemala because he was "scared for his life", which, of course, is a damn lie, and is now in Mexico, he is safe. Yet, the scum quickly morphs into an undocumented immigrant looking for better life in "america" and the dumb US falls for this crap as it must because the US has no border, only some funny guys called CBP that merely register said immigrants and turn them loose but can't stop them the Israeli style.

I would suggest a small correction to the above sentence:

A country and its citizens should have the final and legally binding say in what happens within their boundaries on matters as critical to the nation's survival.

The hardest thing to explain to those born in the West is that their "democracies" are an illusion and that they are just useful tools, with some, like a typical liberal American voter, being just useful idiots. They are unable and unwilling to accept the idea that they just as powerless to have a say in the most critical decisions as we were under the Soviets.

Like who comes. Admittedly, the commies controlled also who goes and kept us at the lowest standard of living short of causing riots like in 1970. And that's about it.

I agree. The Polish model is in my opinion unsustainable. A country cannot rely on exporting its population in the millions for a bribe. Or for a fake NATO security. I wish Poland the very best and in some way I like the idea of the US troops there. Except that the US troops are there today and maybe gone tomorrow, but Russia is going to be where it's at - as we say here - forever.

The idea that the US will go to war with Russia over Poland is beyond insane. The US lost Korea, Vietnam, and can't flush the toilet in Afghanistan and go home. When the Soviets put some bad s*** in Cuba in 1962, the US went nuts and was ready to go to war with them. Now, NATO, that toothless military welfare receipient still in the US pocket, rolled its hardware right up to the Russia's doorstep, meddled in Ukraine, and put sanctions on Russia for their "aggression" in Crimea. I used the quotation marks around aggression because Crimea was always part of the USSR and was given to Ukraine by Kruschev with the population nearly all Russian. With Ukraine going west, no wonder Putin wanted his Crimea back to keep that military base there.

If Kosovo can decide for itself what it wants to be, so can Crimea. There was a vote, nobody got shot, case closed.

Because Russia is right there under your nose and your far away Uncle Sam is not. That's why. Also, the uncle is broke and has no tools to deal with a large land army. Poland had a mutual defense treaty with UK and France in 1939. How did that work out? You could apply the same line of reasoning to Crimea and Ukraine. If Russia really wanted Ukraine, it could have it by the end of Sunday and the US would not absolutely nothing. And it shouldn't. Nobody here gives a rat's a** about Ukraine to die for it.
