Law / Zloty lifts Poland's Economy [43]
Hi all, I hope you will find this helpful: There was a paper published in 2006 on these issues entitled "Effectiveness of Unofficial Currency Market in Poland in 1982–1989" by Gruszczynski. It is available freely here: bankikredyt.nbp.pl/content/2006/2006_09/gruszczynski.pdf (add www at the begining, this message board has strange rules)
You will find the historical rates for $/Zloty in 1980s, both official and black market. It is in Polish, but the graphs will tell you everything, just go to p. 41-42.
