UK, Ireland / Why Poles will never belong in England [283]

Anglosaxon Protestants ???????

What exactly is your definition of Anglosaxon Protestants.......

The Anglosaxon Protestant disappeared centuries ago. We have and always will be a mixed race of Celt, Roman, Saxon, Angol, French, Scandanavians.

Then in the last 40 to 50 years can we include the Afro-Carribean and Asian in that mix.

But white Anglo-Saxon doesn't exist.

Oh and the best thing to happen to the UK is the influx of Polish to the UK.

With my Catholic Celt, Roman, Saxon, Angol, French, Scandanavian genes and the genes of my Slavic Catholic wife we have given birth to two super Catholic Celt, Roman, Saxon, Angol, French, Scandanavian, Slavic boys.

Far better than the trash that is spawned in the UK these days.

History / Warsaw Rising 1944 - National Disaster or Triumph of Spirit ? [515]

Sikorski was right that the Warsaw Rising was a national catastrophe.

No, I disagree. Not a catastrophe. In retrospect it can be termes foolhardy at worst. For me a Triumph of Spirit and like those brave souls, were I faced with such a choice to make now, I like to think i'd have stood shoulder to shoulder with them.

And yet it could have been so very different, but for a fairer wind and the expected assistance of the allies.

As we have come to learn, those brave souls were sold down the river.

With more support, we could have been talking about a victory against all odds and one of the pivotal moments of the war. Instead the things that sticks out most is the horror that ensued.

With hindsight, it is easy for those that weren't there to label it as a catastrophe. We weren't faced with that choice to make.

Life / Polish mentality towards Pakistan [108]

POLES IS CONCIDERED RACIST IN UK 2 THOUGH USED WIDELY

Not it is not!! Personal comment removed.

Polak could be interpreted as racist.

As for Pakistani's........

Those who live in the UK are divided into few types.....

The elders, the first generation immigrant who still live by the old values and are as has been described, peaceful. Grateful for the chance to have a chance at life without the struggles they would face at home in their mother country.

Then there are the younger Pakistani (now known as British Pakistani) who can be divided further. Those who follow Islam and live by its teachings and then the majority of the young who are disaffected, violent, have no respect for the law and feel no allegiance to the country of their birth, in fact demonstrate a genuine hate and loathing for Britain. A generation stuck between the the values their parents and grand-parents live by and the western world they live in. Does this in any way excuse the kind of poppy burning episodes we witness? Absolutely not.

The young Brisitsh Pakistani (that very lable is an oxymoron) are the ones who I would gladly show the door.

As for Pakistan and its regime........Pakistan is a genuine threat to world peace and the only reason it hasn't been blown off the face of the planet to present is because it has the fastest growing Nuclear arsenal on the face of the planet.

Instigators and sponsors of the Taliban they perpetuate the war in Afghanistan to prevent Indian influence in Afghanistan.

Life / The Adult Entertainment Industry in Poland? [67]

So what are all the Polish language prn mags in the kiosks

Doesn't mean to say the girls are Polish simply because the magazine was printed in Polish.

Though I've never seen as much or as open advertising for prostitution than in Poland.

Load of codswallop!!!

London .....and it is on a much larger scale.

Life / The Adult Entertainment Industry in Poland? [67]

Try parking your car anywhere near plac Zawiszy and see what happens. I've lived in London too and Warsaw wins hands down.

UK - The total number of prostitutes is not known and is difficult to assess, but authorities and NGOs estimate that approximately 100,000 persons in the country are engaged in prostitution

Poland - The total number of prostitutes in Poland is not known, estimates vary widely and should be interpreted with caution. For instance, the US 2009 Human Rights Report states that: "according to police there were an estimated 3,300 prostitutes in the country; however, NGOs estimated that there were 18,000 to 20,000 women involved in all aspects of the sex industry

Hands down?

News / Will Poland be badly hit by Recession ? I don't think so. [70]

Poland is still doing extremely well, unfortunately the rest of Europe is going to hell.

Poland will continue to do well whilst the large corporations continue move operations into Poland and exploit the cheap labour market.

In fact even the smaller outfits are doing it.

For example Twinings (SCUMBAGS) who moved operations to Poland and China quoting losses in profits. When in actual fact they had made £65 million in profit. They even had the audacity to ask for EU funding to relocate!!!!!

As soon as the large corporations see a chance to up sticks and move to exploit another cheap labour market they will and Poland will left fighting it out with the rest.
