Life / Why so many Poles use a second hands clothes? [110]

The strategy of buying used items is employed by some to save money, as they are typically worth less than the equivalent new items even if they are still in new condition.

On the other hand, purchasing used items for reuse prevents them from becoming waste and saves costly production of equivalent new goods there by reducing global warming in great extent.

Despite this, many people prefer to buy most or all of their goods new. They may feel safer buying new mostly because a warranty is provided or because they are concerned they may be buying stolen goods.

Some consumers are uncomfortable or inexperienced in this situation too, they simply prefer their goods brand new and feel secondhand items are inferior or shabby especially in the case of clothing or items used for eating such as plates or cutlery. But this is not always true, in secondhand shop items are sorted before selling and things that are really used are sent to the recycle firm. There is no inferiority in buying used items… Economic they say, is not a disgrace and will never be.
