this can happen in any culture,, why do you think they created hotlines and halfway houses?
You've got more chance of calling a hotline in a european country than say 'yemen' or 'zimbabwe'. It does go on all over but in some countries it's completely acceptable (like female circumcision) in some African countries. Do they have 'hot lines' in Turkey?
