News / Poland's aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 25 [1150]

Бзыньь

Wrong.

It's more like пик-пик, very characteristic.

А кассир

... and the cashier, when he has to give you your change (that was the question I asked), will say "cекунду" (and everyone knows it will take some time). :)

Nice try, Grabber, but you are as Russian as pelmeni in a taco shell. Bobko was right.

At the store?

No, at the till. What do you hear? What sound? Tell me the sound (in Russian).

and that's it

You still have to print талончик or go to the reception desk when they check your полис ОМС. But you say you don't frequent clinics so I'll let you off the hook with this one.

the hare turned into an enraged Terminator

This is correct.

One extra question...

What word will the seller in a shop say when you give him cash and he has to give you change? Give me the Russian word.

If you get this right and the sound in the first question, you are Russian.

lemon and vodka (...) my bear plays the balalaika

Sorry, but that just won't do. You are now under official investigation.

Answer these...

1. If you are in a Пятёрочка shop, what will you hear at the till after the transaction ends?

2. When you go to поликлиника what do you have to do, even if you registered online, and what will they check in регистратурa?

3. In the episode of Ну погоди! with robot hare, what happens when the wolf hits it with a hammer?

On the plate and in the glass he he :)

M. Grabber is as Russian as IKEA meatballs with lingonberry sauce?

Test him with some streetwise Russian, behind the reach of online translators (with phonetic spelling and slight mistakes, so it's outside the reach of AI too). :)

let's give it to Lukashenko!

What? You are giving Poland to the Potato Führer? That's a tricky move... we have to counter it somehow.

OK, in such case we are giving the Netherlands to Ukraine. :)

In 2014, they started killing Russian speakers in Ukraine.

I admit I don't know a lot about the origins of the beginning of the conflict, so I won't argue here.

YOU STARTED A WAR. There is no way around it, not now - not in the later history books...

Yip, and it is coming from a German, Grabber. He knows what he's talking about. This sh*t will drag behind you for decades.

in Ukraine, radicals have started killing

Before the war or after the rebels in the east declared independence and tried to break off from Ukraine? Any country would defend their territorial integrity.

the US and UK

The US definitely - they are now selling gas to Europe, not to mention all the weapons; billions upon billions of dollars for them. But the UK? What do the Brits have to win here? Sure, they were a major investor in Ukraine before the war but would they really go to war against Russia for their investments? I doubt it.

why do we need you if we've turned east and are doing business there?

This is a very commonsensical approach. You have business in the Kaukaz and in Central Asia, much more important, profitable and less risky than trying to conquer Central Europe again. Hopefully your government will be as smart as you are.

Russia was left with no choice.

Look, Lithuanians have been messing with Polish minority all the time, ever since they regained their independence from the Soviet Union. Persecuting our schools, language and other minority rights. We could send our army and roll over the f*cking Samogitia twice, and be back home before supper. Did we do it? No. Because it's 21st century and there are other ways of solving conflicts than starting "Special Military Operations". Wars are costly, people die in them, and in the end nobody really profits.

Tell me honestly, hand on your heart, do you think Russia profited from the entire affair in Ukraine?

how enthusiastically you reacted to the stories about Skripals and Bucha

Still, we wouldn't go to war over that.

Kyiv is preparing a large-scale operation "under a false flag" in Romania and Poland

We won't fall for anything that obvious.

The problem is Russia might actually test Article 5 for real themselves. I'd say it's rather inevitable with the orange-skinned Epstein's friend in charge of the US.

Oh, well... pazhiviom, uvidim as ancient Romans used to say.

Poland does not have

Less talking, more action. Send something real and you will see.

Every Russian soldier participating in the Polish campaign will receive a plot of Polish land

This is actually true. But it won't be a very large plot, and it will be located 2 metres underground. :)

Poland's air defenses are nonexistent

Hey, that's not true - and it's from an AA defense reservist. :)

Does Russia really think we are so retarded as to turn on all the systems for a twenty or so lousy drones, so that you can detect them and be better prepared in the coming conflict?

Send something real and you will see if our AA defense is no existent.

Oh, and welcome to PF.

new generation fast neutron reactors (...) reactors will destroy majority of nuclear waste they produce

Nice!

But some people here will still claim that you are a bunch of drunk orcs unable to find a power button on a flashlight.

Ehh... sometimes I would prefer to be with you instead of with them... but what to do - they are my people (retarded but still). That's life.

Azerbaijan

Would definitely cause a conflict with Turkey.

If I were a Russian imperialist, I would want Kazakhstan and the rest of Central Asia first. They also have vast natural resources (including uranium), and would provide huge buffer zone and demographic boost. In general, I'd concentrate on Asia. Stirring sh*t in Europe can still be costly and potentially very risky with little to gain. The possibilities in Asia are endless.

of course the military

I read some time ago that in all joint Chinese-Russian military exercises, it was the Russian army that made the better impression. I wonder what conclusions have the Chinese drawn from what they see in Ukraine.

Polonia / What do Poles think of how they are treated in Germany, in comparison to the Muslim migrants [181]

Braun did a bad thing.

Of course he did.

What's the harm in sucking up to Jews a little bit? Maybe we can get something from them if we do. On the other hand, if we keep extinguishing their magic candles, and calling them a Satanic cult and genocide perpetrators, the chances of them ever helping us with getting nukes or other useful stuff (e.g. anti-missile systems) are rather slim.

I say we should tactically suck up to whomever it's possible and never f*ck with people's holy candelabra--it's stupid, there's no profit in that, and it might even annoy God - they are his firstborn children after all (prodigal but still).

It gives you borders with 3 additional EU states.

Even 4 EU states, unless you count Slovakia as Upper Hungary ;)

project power deep into the continent, direct connection to European electricity and pipeline grids (...) a massive beachhead into Europe

Yes, but you still have aging and declining population, you are still China's junior partner (to put it extremely mildly), and your best pal is still the fatso Kim.

It was all not worth it, all nonsensical, all pointless.

So what's so special about the Baltics?

eSStonian military traditions and Samogitian nobility of spirit

Life / Why oh Why do Poles drive so incredibly poorly [109]

Today they drive better than 5 years ago.

Debatable.

The cars are generally safer and the roads are better, so there are fewer deaths, but excessive speed is still a huge problem.

History / Poles should apologise to Ukrainians first [487]

Have you been to confession

None of your f*ckin business, volksdeutsch.

you should love your neighbors

... and I should also be nicer to people. I know. But sometimes it's hard. Everyone must carry his cross.

@PolAmKrakow

If, by any chance, you had my post #955 in mind when you talked about leftists (lol) saying "Charlie Kirk asked to be killed", then I would kindly ask you to perform a thought experiment...

A) Imagine a leftist person who says that some number of Muslim-immigrant-related rapes and murders are an acceptable trade-off for preserving the right of importing as many (with no limit really) Muslim immigrants as we want to. Imagine now that this person is raped and murdered by a Muslim immigrant.

B) Imagine a rightist person who says that that some number of gun-related deaths (e.g. school shootings or people being shot in public while giving a speech) are an acceptable trade-off for preserving the right of people having as many (with no limit really) guns as they want to. Imagine now that this person is shot by a civilian gun owner.

... in neither of these cases did the person in question "ask to be killed". You cannot claim, however, that the views they held were by no means connected to the way they died.
