20K? LOL This site has no income, and is soliciting donations to stay on line. It is worth zero as a business. It is, and should be seen as a community of peole who like to discuss, or argue with each other. Looking at that advertising page, the technology used for this forum and the advertising, its no wonder no one advertises. This forum uses simple not modern technology. It does not offer much by way of target specific user groups that could be used to come up with a sales pitch. The type of adds offered are not at a level of what other sites offer. There is no set price list, no options for size of adds or types of adds. Who ever said "text links are one of the most efficient online advertising tools" knows absolutely nothing about online advertising. I suspect this came from who ever is being used for programing the site. I am not trying to be negatively critical of the site. I appreciate the time its taken to build it. Unfortunately though, it has no advertisers and makes no money, and therefore how can anyone justify investing in it? No different than any other business. This forum has to be kept free, and cant be seen as a revenue source in order to be successful. It could be so much more than it is, and could attract so much more traffic than it does.

20 years is a great devotion to promoting conversation. The issue is that the site does not make money. Getting it to make money by subscription, or donation will limit users. Selling advertsing can be done, but what is the target market? Could my guys monetize it? Probably. But, that costs money. Buying a site that does not make money in order to invest more to take a shot at making money is not good business. I would like to see the site survive, but if not, I will have my guys create one for free and everyone can go there. Like I said, a forum is a labor of love, and after looking into it, its pennies to set one up and operate.

The operation of a site like this is pennies. One of my business sites gets an average of 10K unique visitors a day. With a lot of software and a leased server it costs me less than $1000 a year to maintain. That is a lot more traffic than this site gets. Start charging for memberships and traffic dies off. Advertisers would want to promote what on this site? A forum is about discussion. It is a labor of love. Anyone thinking they are going to make money off this site doesnt understand how making money on the internet works. My offer stands, free. If the owner doesnt want that, no worries.

Respectfully, any website is only worth buying when it has an income. There are plenty of ways to make a valuation. Hosting is inexpensive, software is inexpensive, and most of the processes needed for moderating are simple and automated these days.

Someone made a great point that the forum medium was a dying one. It is, unfortunately. Text and chat apps are replacing these once very active sites relativity.

My company would be willing to host the site for free since we have our own servers, and moderators could be selected on a rotating basis from all active members. Keeping the site free to use is part of its actriveness for people. Paid memberships tend to drive political agendas one way or another. There are lots of ways to create income streams on a forum like this without having to charge for membership that are quite easy to implement.

Worse products? I dont think so. Who is designing Mac's, Dell, HP, and Lenovo? Parts made in China, Taiwan and other places can create jobs in the US with new factories. Most companies are using robots, so not a drop in quality. Microsoft, and plenty of other software compaies can get involved. All privately or publicly traded companies would benefit. China wouold lose its largest consumer, and no one could make up for it. Thats how you beat China.

Arms are a big export now, but not so much unless there is a war going on. The Democrats love wars and the MIC. But that industry does not produce enough jobs to make an impact on anyone other than investors who are already wealthy. So, they can FO and sell to other countries, or adapt to new industry.

IBM, AMD, Intel, and so many others could easily develop new products and technology in the US. Make good trade agreements with Europe for LNG and other items and the US has no issues dropping other countries. China would implode in less than a year with this hard stand on trade. Poland in particular could seek US investment to build components in all the empty commercial buildings we have throughout the country. Thank you for making my argument. Europe doesnt buy much from the US, chiefly cars. The US supports Europe. As soon as WW2 ended, and there was both the housing and baby boom, the US was doing very well economically. It was not until stupid trade deals with Japan and China, that the US started driving debt up fast. The US used to have great electronics companies that the government destroyed with bad trade deals. The car industry almost died several times because of bad trade deals. The US needs to reverse these problems, spur innovation and new companies will pop up quickly to replace old imports. Prices will go up, but the money will stay in the US, and thats whats needed. Like Poland and the EU doesnt want Ukraine grain, the US should take care of their own tech and cars.

Poland will remain protected simply because the Polish lobby in the US is huge. Can you imagine the revolt if the visa waiver was taken away? Most of us with Polish herritage, grew up in or near largely "Polish" neighborhoods if youre in your 40's or older. Thats a pretty important voting demographic in the US now. Its also a very important wealth demographic.

The US military is the largest mercenary group in the world. Without it, the middle east would have constantly been at war on camels. You make an interesting point on disgracing Russia. Small benefit to only those who remember the cold war era. Russia is not a threat to the US though, no one really is except China and that threat is economic largely of the US own doing. Beyond that though, how many men have to die for that disgrace? The human cost is not worth it.

As for access to European markets. US doesnt need them. Dont want US gas? Great, more for home means lower prices at home. Go back to buying from Russia. Dont want US products? No problem, Europe doesnt buy much anyway. Not a big impact. Europe doesnt buy many American cars, so really not a big deal. The pentagon and strategy are not words that should be used together. This is the same office that spends $10,000 USD for a bag of washers to be used on non essential plane manufacturing, and $450 on a hammer. Any country wanting the US protection should pay for it. Why should the US pay to protect any other country other than itself? This should be the policy in all of the Middle East. In Europe, only those countries that are alligned with the US completely should have a US presence. Spending on the people in the US military is not what needs to be cut. Spending on excess bombs and ammunition that the US doesnt need is where the cuts should be. The only reason to have the MIC is to have wars. Otherwise it would be a lot smaller and less powerful. Anyone stopping by any State National Guard armory will see there is no shortage of weapons anywhere in the US military. Cutting 100 Billion out of Ukraine is a great savings though.

But it wont continue for several years. Ukraine will run out of men before Russia will. Russia can out produce all of the EU for weapons if the US stops supporting Ukraine. Z himself said the other day he anticipates the "hot" part of the war to be over by the end of this year. Ukraine put up a great fight, but its over, and has been for at least a year now. Last years failed offensive was their last best chance. They can hit targets in Russia all they want, but they cant produce 500K men at any point and thats what it would take to even begin thinking of pushing Russia out of Ukraine. Belarus is already planning to reunite with Russia. Everything is in place for it.

Trump will force Russia and Ukraine to a negotiated peace. Ukraine will not become part of NATO and that is the "deal" to keep the US in NATO under Trump. There are well over 50K US troops in Poland now, and that would be likely to rise in number under Trump. A strong offense is the best defense has always been the Republican doctrine. Under Trump and then Vance, Europe would have twelve years of peace. Hopefully by then Putin is dead. Trump was great for Poland in his first term, and could be even better in the next. Lets remember, Poland largely followed all of Bidens COVID policy, and it was not good for the country. Granted, this was under PiS, but still, Tusk is just as likely a follower of US mandates. If Trump is strong on defense, a lot of that will be directed to Poland.

Ukraine has already lost. They will cede some territory and be made neutral. Z will be tossed on his a$$ in the next election, and then, who can complain about who leads the government when it is a legal election? Z will then be spotted fishing in Florida. You dont have to cancel anything. Under Polish law you can travel back and forth to your home country without issue and it doesnt effect your temp residency application. If you dont show up for your interview and fingerprints, your application will be denied and you can reapply any thime.
