Probably because they have less fears and morals....not much asking around "if we should" and "what could happen".....they just do!

That's why I think we need a new Cold War to follow and don't be left behind to far....

PS: I had to google "cliodynamics", and I couldn't help thinking its also about the logics of human developed social systems, and that is interesting for everyone interested in the pro an cons, the ups and downs of capitalist and alternativ social systems....why one works and the other not, despite all the glorious promises! To avoid to repeat all the historic failures....I could be wrong of course!

Never! But I can't think of China being the lone user of AI.....we will very probably re-enter something like a new Cold War, which would of course include a new competition, militarily and scientific....a new great time for all our bright heads!

And I truly don't think about data harvesting when I think about the possibilities of AI...

Whats to fear about robots fighting each other instead of living, breathing humans? Well....and who knows if AI won't rescue us from deadly climate change with some new high tech or the other?

Frankly I believe in High Tech before I believe mankind will change that much for the better.....I guess we will need AI to solve our worst problems, we ourselves are unable to!

Why "inconvenient"?

All muslim fanatics NEED to know what are the consequences of keeping to pi*** off Israel.....should start thinking if it wouldn't be truly better to leave off these mad fantasies and start settling and rebuilding....no more cheering and partying and Baklava when Jews are murdered but spreading fear and dread in their people, knowing they will have to pay dearly for that, double and threefold!

Some people need the hard brutal lecture before they really learn....as often as these lectures are needed, you know!

Sometimes I guess all that green/woke/leftism is a substitute for the good 'ol Marxism/Leninism which ended somewhat '89 also in the West and western lefties looked elsewhere to find a new ideology to keep going...without the words "socialism" and "communism" innit....for that they used now "climate" and "gender", but the fanatism is the same.

A bad mix up....a planned rather revolutionary green/leftist rebuild of our former well working capitalist economy to some utopian green socialist fantasy which included the stupidity of ending our nuclear power plants... (thank you Merkel)...the transitional period was about to be filled with cheap russian gas through the pipelines....then Ukraine happened = no more pipe gas....energy prices skyrocked, all those nice plans ended up in the bin....that was the beginning, it all moved downwards since then...add Corona....plus a never ending mass invasion of foreigners...and all the rest.

But since the same green/leftist/woke/open borders nerds are still in the gov and election day is still a year off it will stay that way for awhile, now Germany stands for a way how to NOT DO IT....
