If you do not enter into Poland from outside the Schengen area, you will not get a stamp. The passport stamp for residency only takes place when you have your in person meeting and give your finger prints. The last time I did that was a few years ago, but the wait time in Krakow was about eight months.

What else sounds familiar? Experimental vacinations? Restricted travel unless proof of vaccination sounds a lot like wearing an arm band with a star on it. You cant work without proof of vaccination? Sounds a lot like you have to join the Nazi party to have a job. And then years later, as in today, science says young people should have not been vaccinated, and people who refused to get a jab lost their jobs and cannot get them back.

Maybe we should make everyone equal? No wealthy people, no poor, no property rights? Everyone gets a basic income and works for the State? How about redrawing district lines to create more power for your party when assembling government? Respectfully, the conspiracy theory of COVID coming from a Wuhan Lab was pretty much confirmed by the CIA saying it is more likely that it came from the lab than an outdoor market. Respectfully, Poland doesn't have near enough military to protect itself against anyone yet. With 200K active military, 20K deployed to NATO and 350K in reserves, that barely exceeds the number of Russians in Ukraine and on the Russian/Ukraine border. Russia could easily mobilize another million in a matter of weeks. PiS did well signing contracts, but next to nothing has been delivered.

The EU needs a united and huge military to deter any further agression. Only then will Russia and everyone else take the EU seriously on defense.

Poland has done a great job buying equipment for a war, but the numbers of soldiers being trained is not enough. Bodies fighting win wars, not equipment sitting in storage because there is no one to operate it.

Work permits cannot be applied for once in the United States, they must be applied for prior to arrival. This kind of visa would be an H2B most likely due to the temporary nature of the work. Anything long term over a year would require a different visa. I know because I do visa applications for clients all the time in the US and throught Europe.

This is incorrect. As long as you have proof you have filed for Temporary Residency, EU and Polish law allows for travel between Poland and your home country. Any other European or UK passport control unit will know this law. That said, if you are traveling outside of the two countries your residency application defines, there are no protections, and it is at the discretion of the transit country.

The coalition parties not going as one block was absolutely stupid. They left the door open for PiS to keep this $hit show going for potentially three months. Duda should have some balls for a change and do whats right for the country and nominate Tusk. Duda cant run again, and he has an opportunity to become his own man and not a JK puppet. CMS is right, if PiS messes around too much, an early election would likely be even worse for PiS. Stalling is bad for Poland, and would just be more proof that PiS didnt GAF about anyone but themselves. While I appreciate you remembering those words, this new government is not settled yet and that concerns me. Already too many discussions on who should control what, and no real statements on what they will be doing. This is immature politics and more battling for control, which is no better than PiS in my opinion. If this return to the entrepreneur test returns it is bad for the country. If something is not done about ZUS it is bad for the country.

This group of parties should have had all of their appointments and positions already discussed and agreed to before the election. There should have been no window for Duda to make the statement that there are two groups claiming a majority. Pressure on Duda could have been leveraged, and he would have looked terrible for not leting this new government organize prior to the next session of the sejm.

That said, I also fear, when the new government gets into the real records of spending and graft, that Poland is in much deeper $hit financially than we could imagine.
