Yep 100% correct. It's that temptation of getting a big standard meal at a restaurant or take out and not eating all of it. Not necessarily throwing the rest out but knowing that when reheated it wont taste the same. The portion sizes have increased drastically 'Most marketplace portions exceed standard serving sizes by at least a factor of 2 and sometimes 8-fold. As for snacking I've never been a great fan of sweets with the exception of some chips one in a while but a lot of people are.

It's cheaper than regular sugar that alone tells you it's worse for you. I was never fat (skinny or thin most of my life) I got to about medium. I'm relatively thin boned and have (or had) a fast metabolism. My body looks ok but I gained some 'love handles' and face got chubbier, which I didn't like. This was all due to eating badly, basically eating 4 big meals a day. I stopped drinking soda, started drinking more spring water and eat 3 or 4 small portion meals with lean meat and veggies per day. In 6 days I dropped 9 pounds without exercise. BTW cutting back on beer also helps lol

Yes overweight by those stats means being even a few pounds over a 10-20 pound range for your height.

Found this 'The country that has the BEST beef is Japan, hands down! They have kobe beef, which is so tender that it literally melts in your mouth. It is basically like heaven.

The United States has the second best beef. I have had beef in some european countries such as Poland, Germany, and the UK, and it is okay but not as good as the US. Their beef is kind of grainy and stringy compared to ours.' And I've heard this from other world travelers it's hard to top US beef.

If you eat food that tastes a certain way for years you forget or even never had the chance to know how it's supposed to taste. I remember the last time I was in Poland and ate fresh from the farm meats and veggies and the meals made from them, I thought I was in heaven. My taste buds were going nuts. Although I have yet to taste a better steak than an American one.

Yea I know but that's just a portion of them. Most don't exercise just take in exes calories and protein which turn into fat.

Well with athletes it's different, they're made big by their trainers for a reason. To be bigger and stronger to dominate not just equal their opponents. Look at the NFL defensive linemen these people after their career is over are cripples, 350-400 pound mini dinosaurs. But I know ther point you're trying to make, people are taller now then ever before so weight must also increase but as the article points out people's perception on how heavy (thick) a person should be has changed. That's because if 2/3 going on 3/4 of Americans are overweight what was normal before seems underweight nowadays.

Yes like this one girl I saw last summer in New Jersey that was the most beautiful girl I ever saw in my like (too bad I didn't ask for a picture) looked like a Irish-Italian, maybe Polish-Irish-Italian or somethin' like that with crystal blue eyes, long medium dark brown hair, nice tan, I mean there was absolutely not a thing I could find that was wrong with her, perfect. Usually people who are fully of 1 ethnic background may not be ugly but are in general less attractive them someone who is 2 or more.

Mods, this can be merged with another thread. While I will say that they tend to overrate themselves, beauty is in eye of the beholder. Many are beautiful and some aren't.

Many most certainly are beautiful. I prefer the more western European look, fair complexion, longer face, blond, brown or red hair.

Most Polish women I've met in the UK are either Butt-Ugly, Average or mildly pretty.

Pretty girls can marry good looking guys with money in Poland and have no need to leave the country.

According to the UN, Poland is a developed country. It occupies the 41th position on the 42 country list.

It still has a long was to go but Poland is progressing. They say China is becoming wealthy but that's on overall GDP definitely not per capita and gross national income in which it lags behind with the 6th spot. The US is still the leader in GNP, GDP, and GNI.
