Better try to avoid the mocking and downtalking

What "mocking and downtalking"?

Fascists do not deserve respect.

Brexit-Chaos.

Which has actually turned out rather well.

Farage started so tiny

And still is, given last week's election results.

populists everywhere keep winning with

Huge PR by turds who make money from market volatility. Fortunately it didn't work.

what many Brits are saying now while watching the success of Farage and his Reform party

Not that much success since they've got 4% of local councillors and 0.8% of MPs.

The unusual electoral system there makes it difficult for them. That and basic human decency; even staunch Conservatives in some areas were tactically voting Labour in the local elections to keep them out. It's worth mentioning that the one thing they won, a byelection, was won by only 6 votes. That despite the previous MP having to resign after being jailed for beating up a constituent in the street. It was an easy election for them, however they only scraped in by a majority of 6 voters.

coupled with the realisation that this party now becoming a possible factor in their home towns.

Not in mine. Most of the media were saying that they'd win it easily; in fact they lost it badly.

Have you really not noticed that Europeans don't have to have guns to protect themselves?

I doubt any doctors' premises have them, u less it's in Mogadishu.

Niebezpieczne dzielnice" ("Dangerous Neighbourhoods

Based on the Channel 5' Police Interceptors franchise. A few countries have bought into that and it's worth watching as good background TV.. The original is about the only TV show I watch.

Well, that depends on how intoxicated the patients are and what is the level of their aggression/rage

Quite, and where alcohol is concerned peoples mood can change in a second.

History / Poles should apologise to Ukrainians first [421]

Serbian and Slowakian presidents have just announced that they will not go to the May 9th

Lukashenko of Belarus said he wouldn't attend either, but is now saying that he might be late

I wonder which of his doubles Putler will send.

A day to avoid central m*scow, especially with the advances in drone techn9logy...

I'm wondering if some of it is drug related (specifically some kind of speed

Probably neither drink nor drugs (though excessive use of both does put people on a downward spiral).

I suspect such attacks are nothing new, just in the news right now due to the tragic murder of that doctor.

in most states iinm prisons are clustered in and around a particular town).

That's like my home in the U.K., near a big cluster of prisons. Some of the people just needed a job and signed up, plus of course it's public sector with a reasonable salary, lots of overtime and a good pension, as valuable as gold when the region's main industries vanished.

tell them they

Tackle the causes of crime of course, as well as focusing on rehabilitation rather than revenge and containment. There's actually very little point in long sentences or inhumane conditions since they do not serve as a deterrent. If they did, then countries with harsh penalties for crime would be crime free, wouldn't they, eh....

Otherwise you just repeat the mistakes of before.

One of the worst possible jobs I could imagine

I've worked in one (briefly and not as a prison officer) plus visited them due to an interest in prison reform and hated every second of being there.

The only officers I didn't dislike were the ones who'd come out of the army and didn't know what to do, or were police who had to leave the force for health reasons or were third or fourth generation guards.

"Hey Morocco, we'll dump some people who may or may not be your citizen in your desert".

Logistically bizarre too of course due to planes able to carry a significant number of people needing pesky inconveniences like permission to land.

Not that the haters think about actual details.

Something about being a prison guard...

There are good ones, even many however the job is so unappealing that it appeals wither to people who can't get much else in t( way of work or even worse, the type of people who love order, discipline and uniforms.

1.) Cut out german welfare for newcomers....only the usual necessities (bed and food)

What could possibly go wrong......

2.) Follow our asylum law to the point at last, meaning nobody having been in another safe country before is allowed in

The UN convention on asylum which trumps local laws does not mention "safe countries". And of course if the U.K. were to do that as well, there would be a few million more people in mainland Europe for y'all to deal with than now.

physically attacked recently

Probably not new, however once an egregious case is reported and gets clicks, the media report more cases that otherwise they'd not bother about.

inspired

???

Some people always get the wrong end of the stick.

a fair distribution of refugees

Good in theory, not so straightforward in practice. People will always head, legally or otherwise, for places where they can earn enough to send back. However much authorities try to spread people around, it never quite works.

As does Marxism. But I suspect few people who use that term know its' meaning.

Indeed, and the world would be a better place if people read and understood a certain short book that He wrote together with Engels. They don't even have to follow it slavishly as extremists do; just understand the bits about labour and expropriation.

And some people choose crime

It's more that crime chooses them.

Adversity doesn't create criminals.... character (or lack thereof) creates criminals

If only it were as simple as that. The causes of crime are myriad.

Of course defining crime is another question.

"Marxists" and "Fascists" really have become empty buzzwords nowadays

And this is sad, since fascism exists whatever people call it.

I don't use twitter and you have to log in nowadays before you can see the stuff there.

Some individuals are sucked into crime, usually due to exclusion, inequality. peer pressure, desperation and lack of hope however this has always been the case in German and other cities.

Because really, if you have thr skills to work everywhere, why would you go to a region in a foreign country where the AfD is strong of all places

Desperation, so it's the strongest or the worst who go. Basically a self fulfilling prophecy that racists bring upon themselves.

and/or their descendants

They aren't migrants..

Riots and crime happen anyway, and migration will only increase.

fighting on the streets with machetes

Something I've never seen. The worst street violence I've personally come across was in Warsaw when the fascists started rioting over nothing.

and you neither, Jon!

Have you spent much time in the UK, Sweden or much of the Arab world?

Maybe some time Leftist should learn from that

Maybe sometime, fascists should reflect that some faceless 'investor' is making more money from their job than they are and getting 'profit' from their housing and food shopping too...

that the Left screams

Generally the screaming comes from fascists.

Banning, jailing, threatening....more or less making non-supporters lives hell

Or maybe applying the law...

I miss the experience of living without capitalism also so much

That's surprising given the authoritarian distortion of economy and society there.

Odd that the pond life minority who vote for fascists want that back.

erm.....that looks like

It really doesn't.

When organisations or political parties promote hate and division, they need dealing with.

demands in the news the "end of capitalism"....I hear nobody screaming for a "Verbot

Why would they, since her comments are positive?
