Actually you are missing two on the bottom row.
Usually they take x-rays of your bitewings and then another of your periapical.
The bitewings show the crown of the upper and lower teeth.
They help dentists detect decay between your teeth and conditions of your fillings.
The periapical are used to diagnose issues in the root parts.
All that decay that made your tooth fall out didn't happen in a 3 months time.

I would get a copy of those x-rays from July and then go have a talk with the quack clinic to find out who missed that obvious decay.
Then get my money back from them and then send them the bill to have the bad tooth fixed.
No doubt a case of gross incompetence.
Here in the U.S. the Quack would get sued for $20k for pain and suffering and another $20k for wrongful diagnosis.
Go to Germany next time you need a dentist is my thought.

A good dentist would have found that decay in your tooth BEFORE it got so bad that it fell out.
He would have put a filling in it so you would not have lost your tooth.
Here in the U.S.A. the dentists are required by all insurance companies to take x-rays of your teeth every two years.
Those x-rays show any potential problems like if you have a crack in your tooth or cavity between your teeth that he can't see otherwise.

We call it, "Dental Insurance" which most Europeans can't afford so their teeth fall out !
