I don't give a flyin' toss about this thread, it's idiotic, but this comment needs to be shot down.

What does the average Pole need to do to "travel abroad"? For most, they're a few hours' train ride or less from Germany/Czech Republic/Slovakia/Ukraine/etc. Think about what it takes for the average American to "travel abroad" and on top of that, where would that person go? Just drive into Mexico, a total $hithole, or Canada.....a place that essentially has nothing the USA can't already offer. Go farther north of Canada, you have nothing but ice. Go farther south from Mexico, it doesn't get much safer there either, or it's flat out 3rd world living.

Also, there's the vacation time thing. Americans don't get nearly the amount of vacation Europeans do. 2 weeks is standard here and many laborers don't even get paid for that time off.

with all that in mind, tell me about life and the people in poland day to day and what things you would blame on communism.

for argument's sake, I'd reel it back farther than 89'. Someone born in 1985 remembers little, if anything about communist times. At 4 years old, they hadn't even started going to school. Even those born in say 1980, just living life as a kid, blind to most of the world, probably couldn't tell you a heck of a lot about "life in communist Poland."

This has already been discussed and you should know it's a very poor argument. The human body is not a perfect design, not by a long shot. Suggesting that nature created something, therefore it must be necessary and perfect, is a losing argument. Several examples of this have already been cited on this thread.

no, i brought it up because you were questioning how I knew what women here thought. people talk about it, i've heard it many times, and i brought up SATC to further show how common it is to be spoken about and that i wasn't just speaking from my own personal opinions. so common that it was on the 2nd season of a very popular TV show, world wide actually. does it in the end bolster the idea that american women don't like unclipped ones? yes, yes i believe it does because i know for a fact that millions of women across the country nodded their heads during that episode in agreement, but i didn't bring up that episode just for that.

You can't take things I say, put them into your little imaginary scenerio, and comment on them. Respond according to what I actually write. Focus, natasia.

Think of what you just wrote. Are you honestly comparing the numerous conversations/articles I've encountered throughout my life about what American women think about snipped vs. unsnipped to your 5 minute, 2 groszy poll you just took with a few Polish girls? And dare I ask.....you said "generally women did NOT go for the circumsized version...." which means that some DID prefer it....what were their reasons for preferring the snipped version? Also, you asked Polish girls. Of the ones that said they preferred unsnipped ones, how many of them have actually experienced a snipped one?

Your poll was meaningless and my experiences, over a lifetime, are all the evidence I need to know that where I come from, the VAST majority of women absolutely do not like unclipped ones.

What the USA does is no more important than anywhere else in the world but however far back in the conversation it was, the USA was brought up, and now we're talking about the USA, partially because this is about circumcision and we pretty much do it to everyone here, it's a good source of comparison. I keep going on about it because people keep coming up with reasons as to why it's not true or why it is, and the reasons were total BS.

the clothing and expensive dinners are just the background, the setting of the show to simply make it more appealing. the things that the show focuses on though are typical things women go through as young adults: dating, sex, social events, more dating, fighting with boyfriends, awkward moments, periods, babies, getting older and still not being married, permiscuity, travel, and everything else women struggle with and love to talk about when they go to the bathroom together. SATC over-dramatizes it all, it's a TV show after all, but the core of the show.....women simply relate and love to watch it. I've heard women discuss this show, in different countries for that matter, a thousand times.

think about it: why would a big shot TV guy create a show specifically targeted towards just women who live on a small island on the east coast of the USA, that only they could relate to? wouldn't you shoot for a larger demographic? and they did. and they were successful.

there's a reason for it.

But they can go on the internet and see what it looks like, even see how it works mechanically, watch prn, etc. and see it for themselves. They all have done that at one time or another and the vast majority prefer it clipped.

Also, if what you say is true, it would also mean that all Polish women that have never been with a clipped guy, they like it unclipped only because "they don't know any different." it works both ways, keep that in mind.


it also doesn't mean it's specifically geared towards rich american manhattanites either, which is EXACTLY what you just suggested. evidence would prove the exact opposite, that women all over the world love the show and reasons as to why should be pretty damn obvious. hint: it's not because they can't relate to the women on the show.
