And there is nothing you or I need to accept or like about, but you or I are not the decider....and as long as it proves to be successful with their audience in raising their numbers, why the *** should they stop that?

But as long as they are gaining ground with that totally democratic, meaning ONLY through elections, there is nothing the gov could or should to end that, THAT would be undemocratic...the GDR gov did that, banning the opposition, it didn't help them in the end at all!

These remarks by Höcke are not that strange for many Germans at all who rediscover nationalism.

The AfD election slogan "Alice for Deutschland" sounds alot like "Alles für Deutschland"....

Anti-Semitism was surely earlier a badge for rightwing extremists....today it's the Right which supports Israel and fighting Jews.

Today it's the Left which is openly anti-semitic and want Israel annihilated and jewish life in the West destroyed (Boycotts etc.)....crazy times!

IMHO these dreams and visions of violent overthrowing of governments is more a "thing" for activists....for movements....for people who know they have otherwise no chance in hell to make their dreams come true otherwise.

The AfD has begun as a new party with tiny numbers and has gone the whole long hard way with wholly democratic means...meaning ground work from the bottom up....they just don't need to endanger all this progress and success now with violent visions...

Nobody bats an eye at demos in Berlin, where hooded people scream and hold banners with "From the river to the sea", which in effect means total annihilation/genocide/wiping off the map of Israel....so....I guess that is seen as acceptable!

For comparison...these AfD remarks are as dirty and mean Stammtisch-material as they come but nobody asks for annihilation of a muslim country....only less muslims in Germany!

Na ja...not as strong, I think. More like a break....before the new law gets back to the Verfassungsschutz for more "proofing"! If there is no fault found then the Prez has to give his signature...so...it's not a total veto!

To bad they can't look so far to see them. With rightists gaining ground/even winning elections in one EU-country after the other such "grouping" and "networking" might have the potential to change the EU, to make it more fit for nationalist ideals and wishes.
