Some time ago two Lithuanians stabbed to death a Polish guy in England because he didn't give them fags.
There is a world of difference between fight and drunken brawl especially for teenagers and grown men being aggressive towards teenagers just because they are Polish.

Actually, you just prove the point. PiS supporters instantly denounce anything that doesn't agree with them as lies - which is exactly what the Communists did.

Wether Communist did or didn't is not an issue here. Nor am i a PiS supporter, recognising lies as lies has no political connotation's. Well maybe for you it has.

Basically, PiS are hard left economically - they are very much socialists. It's denied, of course (socialism is a dirty word here - but it's almost certain that they would hurt small/medium businesses in order to help the huge state-owned businesses. They're also very pro worker-rights - so depending on his business, he might very well be in a bad place if PiS won. Generally speaking, they stand for all sorts of benefits for workers and little rights for employers - which is why most business owners are against them.

I never asked him how PiS would do that.

As for "spying" by Kaczynski on his coalition partners - would you like to point out the way he was doing that spying ? Was he hiding under their table or in their wardrobe? Maybe he was using a glass pressed against a wall to listen to their conversations ?

light brown for Poles is dark blonde and other way around for Brits,different perception
For Poles the colour is still blonde and for you it is not.

Wroclaw may not consider "dirty blonde" to be "blonde" but the people using the term "dirty blonde" which includes the word "blonde" in it obviously do, otherwise they'd say "light brown" or use another term that doesn't contain the word "blonde".

in Poland the term swinski blondyn/blondynka (swine/pig blond) is applied.

Have you ever heard about platinum blonde ?the term your have provided is used by boisterous youth and not applied to females, especially attractive females.

For true, or 'Scandinavian' or whatever u'd like to call people with light blond hair, in Poland the term swinski blondyn/blondynka (swine/pig blond) is applied.

For blonde the term is blonde you blonde, or light blonde or platinum blonde.

Anyway in the case of Doda (that pop- wannabe singer ) what you read above about Poland court fined her is simply misinformation.
Translating that circumstances into the USA system it would be so called - preliminary hearing.

Face it, you're saying that because she insulted YOUR religion. If she had said, "I think Buddhism is completely ridiculous," we wouldn't hear a peep out of you.

You are right on your money. The fact is that she didn't say anything about Buddhism because her aim was to insult religions people care about in Poland.

That is premeditated action and for that reason I think that she should be fined.

People like me have more sense in one finger than you in your whole body. You are an atheist and yet you are keenly interested in religion,in a bad way. So you are not exactly impartial here. Yet I would defend your right to remain atheist and your right to state it publicly, I wouldn't bat an eye if somebody who insulted you on the ground of your beliefs would have been fined.

Maybe I'm wrong but I think that is what freedom of speech is all about - or it should be!
As long as you are not abusing or insulting somebody's beliefs - you should have a right to express your opinions in a non insulting way.

Example:
I think that the Bible is only full of stories which in my opinion are not true but made up by some bronze age storytellers from a desert- it is acceptable.

I think that the Bible is fukcing horrid shyte for brain washed idiots fit to be the middle-ages peasants, written by a bunch of drunken pigs - its totally unacceptable.

Also intent counts - in this case this pop-crap pretend-to-be-singer indented to insult and stir public interest and that alone should be severally punished by making her pay a huge fine - pour encourager les autres!

That singer in question done it solely for publicity and I think that should be severely punished by a much higher fine.

I'm not surprised that you are happy to insult religion as you have a beef with it.

For publicly talking rubbish about the Bible, not stating that she find the Bible meaningless.
