Most "better off's" haven't.....hence the leftist/greens find their actual voters in the better-off districts of the german cities whereas the AfD has become the new "workers and farmers party"!

That depends probably on who is in power and with which gov the people are unhappy with.....in Germany it has been rather leftist for years, no matter which party, starting with a rather left/green Merkel (mis)leading a former centrist/conservative party (the CDU)....that muddled everything! And the consequences of this muddling of german politics plays out now and in the future between others with the foundation of a new CDU, a true again conservative/rightist party (the AfD) and the growing irrelevance of the former true leftist party (The Linke)!

In the UK it's a rather rightist party in power, so the opposition has to be leftist....actually in Germany a party who actually does something to fight immigration would gain voters left and right and would win elections...in the UK seemingly not!

There is a big medial support for the leftist/green/woke ideology in the West....in Germany a big majority of Journos see themselves on the left spectrum and of course write accordingly. That is similiar in the US, the UK and elsewhere...

But in the end it's reality which decides about the rise and fall of ideologies....people have still their own minds and eyes, the moment the reality differs to greatly from articles and essays the media and with it the govs lose their influence. Or otherwise the GDR would still exist....full of happy people!

Hamas ruled Gaza because the Israelis made the error and left the Arabs alone...no settlements, no IDF, nothing....the Arabs had all the chances and possibilities in the world, supported by the goody-two-shoes-idiots of the western world with lotsa money and support....and look what happened!

In the West Bank that error was avoided = less Hamas! They are getting killed there before they can massacre Israelis....

If it would truly help the Arabs would have their 22% for a long time already....but you see what happens. Instead of rebuilding their home they will further only concentrate on killing israeli homes! The terrorists are already waiting.

If there is always only talk about the land the Arabs lost then yes, it's an argument. There is a reason for the rebuilding of Israel there, never forget who lost his homeland first. And after their return there was a partition planned, the arabs had had the possibility to build something worthwhile with their half...but noooo....they preferred to keep on killings Jews, dreaming of destroying Israel, driving them back to the sea and what not....now their half gets smaller and smaller, whose fault is that?
